The holiday park has up-to-date infrastructure and excellent facilities. The location of Camping Sites & Paysages Le Petit Bois is ideal for holidaymakers: as well as being so close to Ruoms, it's just 600 m from the beach.Le Petit Bois campsite has a covered pool (heated in low season) with children's pool and water slide; another separate swimming pool; a playground, bar, pizzeria, restaurant, snack bar and widescreen TV. Guests will find a range of relaxing activities and will appreciate the leisure pool complex but there are plenty of outdoor sports on offer besides. The many tree and plant species provide pleasant shade. The central point of Les Arches campsite is the water park with a heated outdoor pool and paddling pool, water slide and sun deck. Near the river La Claduègne, which flows through the middle of the campsite, a large natural swimming pool is created in high season. The perfect spot for paddling, catching tadpoles or building dams. You can keep an eye on the children from the beach. There is also a playground and football field nearby, and in high season there is a bar. There is a waterfall a few minutes' walk away where you can also enjoy a nice swim.Entertainment, but not excessiveThe campsite doesn't want to overload you with activities all day long. There is plenty to see and do in the area. There are occasional sports and craft activities for children, entertaining activities for complete families and original activities for adults as well as musical performances. There are also a number of playgrounds scattered around the campsite and some sports fields and play equipment.Delicious dining with the site's own winesThe campsite has a traditional bar-restaurant with a large patio and a play corner for the little ones. Taste the campsite's homemade wine. For a quick bite you can eat pizza or something from the snack bar. The bread and breakfast service is very pleasant. The Sunday barbecue evening with salad buffet is something you simply must attend.Plenty to do and seeLes Arches campsite is surrounded by farmlands, sheep and vineyards in a rolling landscape. An old train viaduct, now only used for bicycles, with characteristic arches is where the campsite gets its name from. There's great walking and cycling in the immediate vicinity. There are several small rivers for swimming in the area. A must-see is the Pont d'Arc over the river Ardèche. The Ardèche lends itself perfectly to sportive, cultural and leisure activities. Many water sports are possible, and for the more adventurous there are plenty of opportunities for challenging outdoor sports. Camping l'Ardechois is situated by this crystal clear river (swimming, fishing, boating). French charm, great ambiance!It is a true family campsite with a great atmosphere! A perfect combination of French charm and Dutch management set in the wonderful countryside of the South of France. Here you will be camping in the middle of the Ardèche, near the Cévennes and the beautiful river valleys of the Massif Central. Even low season l'Ardechois campsite is lovely thanks to the quiet, peaceful location and the mild climate. Recommended for young familiesThis well maintained terrain divided into terraces and has a lovely swimming pool in its centre with a separate shallow toddlers' pool. At l'Ardechois campsite fun activities and games are organised, mainly in high season. You can also take part in canoeing and climbing trips in the beautiful surroundings. With its restaurant, youth centre and playground, this campsite is perfect for families with young children. Lovely trips along winding roadsBut you will sometimes need to abandon your new favourite spot because lovely drives along winding roads will take you to the tourist towns of Privas and Aubenas and the Ray-Pic waterfalls. A lovely way to discover the Ardèche! St. Sauveur-de-Montagut is located just west of Valence and Montélimar. It is also not far from Parc National des Cévennes by the Tarn. As you can see, this is a wonderful camping opportunity in France!

Alternative and colourful campsite by a riverLooking for something different? Remember Bohemian, the seventies, flea markets, Ibiza effect? If so, you're in absolutely the right place at this colourful campsite by a small river. There are also two lovely swimming pools at Medrose campsite. The reception and restaurant are housed in an old stone schoolhouse. This is the heart of Medrose campsite. Munch your way through a pizza from the wood-burning oven or enjoy a drink on the terrace under old chestnut trees. You can regularly listen to live music in the evenings. There are lovely views from the campsite of the ancient village of Saint-Thomé that nestles against the hillside. Modest entertainment on the campsite.Modest entertainment on the campsiteRiver L'Escoutay flows past Medrose campsite, and the children can have fun making dams here. Put your chair next to them with its legs in the water and keep your feet wonderfully cool. You can sit there all day if you want. You can't swim in the shallow water, but you can in one of the campsite's two swimming pools. There is a separate children's pool for the youngest ones, and there are colourful chairs and sun loungers next to the pools. There is also a bouncy castle for small children, and they are sure to make friends here. The campsite is located in the middle of the countryside and various walking and cycling paths pass by the site. You can take part in an organised walk in high season. Peace prevails on the campsite, but Medrose campsite comes alive in the evening. The trees are lit up and it's party time on the terrace. You can do your shopping in the nearby town of Saint-Thomé. There is a larger supermarket in Viviers which is a 10 minute drive away. You can of course get fresh bread on the campsite every morning, and you can enjoy a delicious meal every evening in the campsite restaurant.Nougat tasting in Montélimar and kayaking on the ArdècheMedrose campsite is located in an area where there is plenty to discover. Go for a car drive through the mountains and gorges of the Ardèche. You will pass though lovely old villages on the way. Or rent a kayak and view the surroundings from the water. Or…book a helicopter flight at the campsite for amazing views of the famous Gorges de l'Ardèche. The town of Montélimar is 20 minutes away from the campsite and the old town centre is a wonderful place to stroll around. Montélimar is famous for its nougat. Visit the nougat and bonbon museum with the whole family, and discover a world of sweets.
