Entertainment for water rats and landlubbers At Europarcs Marina Strandbad, you can enjoy various water activities. The park is situated on The Zwarte Schaar, a peaceful branch of the IJssel River. This provides you with plenty of options. You can easily navigate the IJssel River from the campsite for a long journey. Or strap on your water skis and glide across the water. In the tranquil branch, you can swim, surf, or canoe. And you'll definitely find a nice spot to cast your fishing line. For landlubbers, there's also plenty to do. Hop on your bike, and you'll be surrounded by fields and meadows in no time. Cross the IJssel River on the ferry, and you'll find yourself in the Veluwe forests. The Eight Castles Route takes you by bike past beautiful castles, such as Vorden Castle. On the Veluwe, you can endlessly wander through heathlands, forest paths, and sand dunes.
