Located directly on the Mur Cycle Path in the west, Stadl an der Mur is considered the gateway to Styria, both from Salzburg's Lungau region and from Carinthia via the Turracher Höhe, the idyllic Alm-See plateau.In the immediate vicinity (approx. 10 minutes by car) is the well-known Kreischberg family ski area, the most modern ski area in the holiday region with 42 kilometers of first-class, snow-sure pistes and 13 cable cars and lifts.
