Two leisure pool complexes and by the beach!Two large leisure pool complexes filled with swimming pools and slides, an indoor playground and eight restaurants. You will not find a campsite with so many amenities as Camping Union Lido Mare. This Italian campsite is also right by the beach so it's perfect for sunbathing or swimming in the sea. There is something for the whole family to enjoy, whether you like horse riding, swimming or football. Stay in one of the SunLodges and your super luxurious Italian summer holiday will be complete. Camping by the beachThe Union Lido Mare campsite is situated on the coast of the Cavallino province. Some camping pitches are a little further away from the water, in the shaded forests on the campsite. No matter where you are staying at Camping Union Lido Mare, it is never more than a 10-minute walk to the Adriatic Sea. Camping Union Lido Mare has a private beach stretching over 1 kilometre! And there you will find nice lounge sets and a beach bar. The beach and water are immaculate which has earned them a blue flag rating. Two large leisure pool complexesThe campsite has not one but two leisure pool complexes. That's double the swimming fun! At the beach there is Aqua Park Marino, a playground for children. There are various climbing frames in the water they can play on. It is also a great place to swim some lengths. Aqua Park Laguna is on the other side of the campsite. Almost all the pools in this leisure pool complex are shallow, so your children can play safely to their heart's content. If you want to pick up the pace, then race each other down the mega slides. They are perfect for slightly older children. Summer school during the holidayThere are almost 24-hour childcare facilities available at this campsite in Italy. The entertainment team provides games, theatre shows and fancy-dress parties. Your children can also go to school. Don't panic, it's not a real school. The children can choose from diving lessons, horse riding classes or the football school. And while they are busy, you can go shopping in the shopping centre. If you don't fancy walking, you can catch the train! If your children join you, stop at the playground on the way. You mustn't miss the rollercoaster and log flume in this amusement park. Pizza, hamburger or fishDon't worry that your children won't like the food at the campsite. They can decide what they would like to eat. That's really convenient, as you will disembark in the centre of this unusual city. Other attractive Italian towns in the area are Trieste, Treviso and Padua; perfect for soaking up some true Italian atmosphere!

Swimming with views over TuscanyThe loveliest views of the Tuscan hills, that's what you'll get from this campsite in Tuscany. Barco Reale campsite is located on a hill in the middle of the countryside. But there's plenty more to this Italian campsite than swimming with a view. You can take cooking lessons or go with the very youngest to a baby dance. Or your children can spend an afternoon playing with the entertainment team. And it would not be Italy if you couldn't get delicious pizzas. And while you can enjoy the peace and quiet at the campsite, you can also visit beautiful Italian cities - such as Florence, Lucca and Pisa - in less than an hour's drive.Close to cities and beachesBarco Reale campsite is located on a hillside in the middle of pine tree and oak forests, and offers stunning views of the Tuscan countryside. If you're feeling a bit sportive, rent a mountain bike at the campsite and discover the beautiful Tuscan hills. If you prefer a day on the beach, that's also possible. The sandy beaches of the Mediterranean Sea are just over an hour's drive from Barco Reale campsite.Swimming with the loveliest viewsYour swimming trunks and bikini are the first thing you will pack in your suitcase. Barco Reale campsite actually has three swimming pools. You get breath-taking views of the Tuscan hills from all three swimming pools. Children can enjoy themselves swimming in the large toddlers' pool. They can also play safely in the larger one metre deep pool. This is next to the largest of the pools, and is perfect for a relaxing swim of a few lengths, or for enjoying the views of course! By the way, Barco Reale is a very dog-friendly campsite. How nice if your holiday is only complete when the dog comes along!Home made spaghetti and Tuscan winesBarco Reale is a real family campsite. There are plenty of activities you can do with your children. You can make mosaic artworks for example, or prepare your own spaghetti and cook a delicious meal with it. If you're not a prince or princess in the kitchen, take your family to the campsite's restaurant where they serve delicious pizzas. Or maybe you prefer a regional dish accompanied by a Tuscan wine? All the ingredients are grown in their own kitchen garden or sourced from local farmers. Super fresh! Pick up an Italian ice cream as a snack from the small ice cream shop on the campsite.Florence, Pisa of Pistoia? Barco Reale campsite is located between several beautiful Italian cities. Florence, with its famous museums and beautiful buildings is a one hour drive away. One hour further on and you can admire the Leaning Tower of Pisa with your own eyes. Does it really lean that far? If you prefer a more peaceful town, Pistoia is less than half an hour's drive from the campsite. It's less busy here, but this town is just as beautiful as the more famous cities.

That is the luxury of camping at the Piani di Clodia campsite. And you will find even more luxury at this campsite, between the villages of Lazise and Peschiera del Garda. Luxury camping pitches with Wi-Fi for example. Excursions can be done on foot or by bicycle. Take a walk to the lovely town of Lazise. Or surprise the children with a trip to Caneva Aqua Park! Beaches along Lake GardaThis campsite is situated at a wonderful location by the famous Lake Garda in Italy. Camping Piani di Clodia is the perfect destination for a beach holiday filled with sun. It is only a few minutes' walk to the lake. There are lovely little beaches hidden behind the forest. Jump into Lake Garda and enjoy the cool water! The popular coastal resort of Lazise is only three kilometres away. It is a lovely place to go out for dinner and enjoy the Italian way of life. Italian pizza and sausagesIs it dinner time? Go find your children in the swimming pool complex. They will probably be racing down one of the water slides. Can't find them in the swimming pool? Go to one of the sports fields. They might be playing a game of tennis, football or basketball. When they hear you will be having pizza for dinner, they will be more than happy to join you. The campsite has restaurants and lovely bars. You have plenty of choice. After dinner, you can enjoy the evening air at your holiday home or camping pitch with an Italian sausage and wine from the supermarket. Or enjoy one of the spectacular theatre shows. On foot to Caneva Aqua ParkGoing out? Go on foot! Take a walk by Lake Garda and on to Lazise. There are numerous pizzerias and ice cream parlours along the lovely promenade. After a walk, treat your children to a real Italian ice cream. Are you walking 500 metres in the other direction away from Camping Piani di Clodia? Your children will be pleasantly surprised. That is where you will find Caneva Aqua Park, the enormous swimming pool complex with its spectacular water slides and pools. Want to go a bit further afield for an excursion? Verona is recommended. This city is famous for its open-air arena. Operas are performed there in the summer. It is only 30 minutes' drive to the city of Romeo and Juliet.

Your own private beach on the Italian coastSpend your holiday right by an Italian beach at this campsite near Venice. With its lovely swimming pool you will have twice as much fun swimming . Take a dip in the pool at Jesolo Mare Family Camping Village, or jump into the Mediterranean Sea. While your children take part in a sports competition, you can relax in the wellness centre. For extra comfort, parasols and sunbeds can be rented.Swimming pool for everyoneThe large swimming pool has different depths, so everyone can have fun swimming. The children can whiz down the colourful slide in the toddlers' pool, or try a game of water polo in the deeper part. You can sunbathe on one of the deckchairs around the swimming pool. No space? No problem. There's plenty of room on the beach, and you can be walking with your feet in the sand in a couple of minutes. A massage or a visit to the sauna will relax you completely.Europe's highest water slideIf it's adventure you want, you won't have far to go. Lido di Jesolo actually has Europe's highest water slide. Just fifteen minutes' drive and you'll be at Caribe water theme park (formerly Aqualandia). This large water park has mega-exciting slides and swimming pools for all ages. Take part in the biggest water pistol fight or in a pirate show. If you prefer cultural days out, you can be in Venice, with its many bridges and canals, within an hour. If you want to know more about trips out, theme parks and lovely towns, ask at reception. You can also get discounts on some of the attractions.
