In the natural surroundings of Drenthe lies the Landal GreenParks Hof van Saksen. This unique holiday resort offers accommodation in the form of comfortable and (extra) luxurious farmhouses. The extensive facilities on the park itself and the various cultural and sports activities in the Drenthe area make this park very suitable for families with children. Hof van Saksen is car-free. This means that cars are not parked on the park itself, which means that playing children are not bothered by cars.
The Garden of Saxony is the perfect holiday park to go on holiday with the family. Everything has been thought of when you come to the resort with children up to the age of 16. The holiday homes are furnished in a child-friendly way with, for example, a stair gate and child-friendly sockets. There are also special ´children´ farms. And at the park there are all kinds of facilities aimed at children. For example, special activities are organized for teenagers including a Hang-Out. There is also plenty to do for younger children. There is an indoor play paradise and the special Children's Academies teach children how to build and cook, for example. You can also make use of a professional babysitting service at the park. The party is completely complete with various spectacular indoor slides in the pool.
For the disabled there are specially equipped holiday farms available that are equipped for people with a physical disability. For example, the entire house is wheelchair friendly and the bedroom has height-adjustable beds. And are you dependent on care? Then you can get personal care and nursing during your stay. If necessary, you can also rent aids.
The resort has a Spa & Wellness. Here you can enjoy various saunas and baths such as a Finnish sauna, a Turkish steam bath and a plunge pool. You can also book treatments such as a massage or facial. On Wednesdays it is bathclothes day at the Spa & Wellness, the other days the sauna is bathclothes free.
There are all kinds of services offered for your holiday farm. For example, you can have a private cook cook cook a delicious meal at the house. You can also book a VIP package where your breakfast will be delivered to your farm and a bottle of Prosecco will be waiting for you. If you have something to celebrate, you can book a party package including garlands to decorate the farm and of course a cake. The Hof van Saksen is situated on a recreational lake. Here you can have a lovely swim or enjoy the beach when the weather is nice. There is also an indoor swimming paradise. Here you can enjoy water fun in the wild water rapids, try out four spectacular water slides or swim in the competition pool. There are also whirlpools to relax and a special musical paddling pool.
Children of all ages as well as teenagers don't have to be bored at the Garden of Saxony. There are facilities for all ages. For smaller children there are outdoor playgrounds and an indoor playground. For children up to 12 years there are trampolines and climbing towers. And the special Children's Academies combine fun and education. There are creative activities such as the Fashion or Cooking Academy and active activities such as Construction or Sports Academy. And teenagers can relax with peers in the Hang-Out. Here you'll find a pool table, slot machines and a large screen to play video clips, for example. During the holidays there is also a 10-er host present to see together what other activities can be organized.
At the Garden of Saxony you can choose from more than 25 different types of accommodation. These are suitable for 2 to 24 persons and of course always comfortably furnished. You can choose from different levels of accommodation - from comfort to extra luxury.
The holiday homes of the Court of Saxony are farmhouses that are fully equipped and all non-smoking. The living room has a lounge seating area and a dining area. The open kitchen is fully equipped with, for example, a dishwasher, a microwave oven and a Nespresso coffee machine. Here you will find a kitchen towel and a coffee & tea set. The holiday farms consist of several floors and you always have a separate toilet. The bathroom, for example, contains a shower cabin and a sink. And a towel package is waiting for you. The beds in the bedroom are always equipped with luxurious Auping beds for a wonderful night's sleep. And you will always be welcomed by made beds. And the terrace has adjustable garden furniture to enjoy the quiet surroundings. There are homes where pets are allowed. All farms also have child-friendly sockets and a stair gate.
Specially for families, newborn and petting zoos are available. A newborn home is equipped with, for example, a video baby monitor and a separate baby bedroom with hanging cradle. A special petting zoo comes with, for example, children's crockery and a playpen.
The wellness holiday homes are equipped with wellness facilities. For example, you will find a 4-person sauna in the wellness houses. And outside you have a jacuzzi which you can use all year round.
Guests with physical disabilities can stay in the holiday farms that are especially suitable for the disabled. These are wheelchair friendly and the paving around the accommodation is paved. The bathroom is also adapted with a flat shower with a shower seat and a toilet with brackets. The bedroom is equipped with high / low beds.
At the Court of Saxony, group farms for 18 and 24 people can be booked. These comfortable farms offer plenty of space. They have double bedrooms and several bathrooms. In the kitchen you have a bar and there are several flat screen TVs available in the farm.
