If you want to discover the beautiful nature and the island of Ameland, Landal holiday Ameland State is the perfect base. The location of the park right on the beach, ensures that you can enjoy the sun and sea from your apartment. The spacious apartments are ground floor, modern furnished and fully equipped. The holiday park itself also offers various facilities for a quiet, relaxing holiday. For example, have sandwiches delivered to your apartment.
From the mainland in Holwerd (Friesland) the boat will take you to Ameland in about 45 minutes. In holiday times there are several departures daily. In Holwerd, you can park your car in a large car park for a fee. If you want to go to Ameland by car, you have to book a place for your car in advance at the boat. You can park one car at the complex. Enjoy a weekend, midweek or week in the spacious apartments on Holiday Park Ameland State. You can check in on Monday or Friday. In certain periods it is possible to arrive at the park any day of the week. This park is a must for animal lovers. There is a maximum of two pets per apartment. You must indicate this in advance when booking and there is an extra charge.
Find with (small) children in Holiday Park Ameland State apartments for a relaxing holiday. The apartments are modernly furnished with an open kitchen and 1 or 2 bedrooms. It is also possible to request a high chair and for a fee a cot can be placed. The children's play corner on the park, the football table and the possibility to rent games ensure that the whole family does not have to be bored. Landal Ameland State is very suitable for seniors. From the park you can explore the island on foot or by bike, including the coast, the dunes and the charming villages of Ameland. If you do not bring your own bikes, you can rent bikes at the park. The apartments are ground floor so you don't have to walk stairs. Of course they offer plenty of comfort with, for example, a dishwasher, a separate sitting and dining area and box springs in the bedroom. The park also offers all kinds of facilities for a carefree stay. Think for example of bicycle rental, a courtyard garden and the possibility to enjoy golf with or without golf skills.

At Ameland State Holiday Park there are plenty of opportunities for sports and games for all ages. For children there is a children's play corner and a playground. The park also includes a table tennis table, a football table and a pool table. For a game of old-fashioned entertainment, you can also use the shuffleboard. And, the park offers game rentals so you can play a game in your apartment. If you feel like having fun in the water, you'll find the sea 100 metres from the park for a refreshing dip.
If you want to explore the natural landscape of Ameland by bike, you don't have to make it difficult to bring your own bike on holiday. At this park you can easily rent a bike. You can choose from both men's and women's bikes as well as children's bikes. It is also possible to rent child seats and kidscars. Dog trailers, handcarts and bike trailers are other options offered.
To make sure you have all the comforts you need, there are several arrangements you can book at Landal Ameland State. Choose the sandwich service and the freshly baked rolls will be delivered to your door in the morning. You can also opt for an Uit-eten arrangement or a Half-board arrangement where you can enjoy the most delicious dishes at Grandcafé - Restaurant ´Brood´ on the beach.
On Ameland you'll find the first overseas golf course. Here everyone can come and play golf surrounded by dunes and nature reserves. Golf course Ameland offers opportunities for both inexperienced and advanced players. For the Par 3 course, a golfing license is not required. For the 9 hole course a registered handicap is required. There is also a driving range and practice facilities for putting and chipping.
At the holiday park Ameland State you stay in comfortable apartments. These are suitable for 2 to 4 persons and all on the ground floor. This makes them very suitable for both families and seniors. They are spacious and fully equipped. In the living room you can enjoy a sitting area with a TV and DVD player. The apartment has a separate dining area and an open kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with, for example, a dishwasher and a Senseo coffee maker. The apartment has 1 or 2 bedrooms with box springs. The holiday can start right away, because you will be welcomed by beds made on arrival. In the bathroom you can relax in the bath and you have a separate shower. All apartments are non-smoking.
On request it is possible to have a high chair in the apartment. And against payment a cot can be placed in the apartment. At an additional charge a maximum of two pets are allowed per apartment.
