Landal De Reeuwijkse Plassen is very suitable for families with children up to 12 years. You can rent special children's homes here. These are equipped with child-friendly facilities such as toys, a chest of drawers and, for example, a children's table with highchairs. All these houses are located on a fully fenced children's island. On the park itself you won't get bored either. With both a nature play island and an indoor playground, children can let off steam in any weather conditions. There are also plenty of activities on and around the park that you can enjoy as a family, such as sailing and other water sports.
Seniors and disabled people will find specially accessible houses on the holiday park. Here you can enjoy an adapted bathroom with, for example, a raised toilet with brackets. And high/low beds in the bedroom. People with a physical disability are provided with all modern conveniences in these houses. And from the water house you can explore the area on foot, by bike or by boat. Also picturesque villages and larger cities can be found in the area to make a trip to. And the Reeuwijkse Plassen are an important resting and feeding area for bird species. Bird lovers can spot a large number of birds here throughout the year.
Landal De Reeuwijkse Plassen offers various facilities that contribute to a carefree, relaxing holiday. For example, you will find various restaurants on the park and an ice-cream parlour. But there is much more.
Specially for children up to and including 12 years are the various facilities on the holiday park. For example, the Fun & Entertainment team offers an extensive entertainment programme during the school holidays. There is also an indoor playground for children between 3 and 10 years. A rope bridge, boxing balls and slides are just a few of the many play attributes you will find here. And there is a nature play island where children can play in the middle of nature. This island is surrounded by water and there are all climbing equipment, just like a zip line.
The location of the holiday park at the water's edge ensures that the park offers all kinds of sporty water activities. For example, you can take a lesson in Stand Up Paddling on the water. If you are already an experienced Supper, you can rent the equipment at the park. Windsurfing and sailing are also possible. If you like fishing, you can throw out your fishing rod from the bank of the Reeuwijkse plassen. You can also rent a boat to go fishing from there. If you prefer to be active, you can rent a canoe to go on a trip. Or rent an electric boat and discover 12 ponds in the area where you can sail from the park.
In the park you will find an indoor swimming pool where young and old will have fun. There is also a special paddling pool for children. If the weather is nice, you can also go to recreational lake Reeuwijkse Hout for a refreshing dip. This is right next to the park. Here you will also find a recreational beach and a fenced off swimming area for children. And if you have a water house with a jetty, you can dangle your feet in the water from here.
The accommodations of Landal De Reeuwijkse Plassen are all on the waterfront. The sustainably built waterfront houses contain a luxurious interior. There are holiday homes for 2 to 20 persons available, in 23 different types. You can also choose from the comfort and luxury classes. The offer includes detached houses, semi-detached houses and semi-detached houses. For an additional charge per day it is possible to bring a maximum of 2 pets to your water home.
Enjoy a living/dining room with a separate sitting and dining area in the water house. Here you will find a flat screen TV and for example a radio. The open kitchen contains a standard kitchen inventory, together with a dishwasher and a combi-microwave, among other things. Depending on how many people the house is suitable for, you will have one or more bedrooms. These are equipped with box springs. If you choose for a water house in the luxury class you will find beds made on arrival. You have a separate toilet in the house and the bathroom is standard equipped with a shower cabin. The terrace is equipped with patio furniture. In the luxury class holiday homes you also have sun loungers on the terrace, for example.
Specially for families with children there are special children's homes on the park. These are all completely fenced off children's island. In the house you can enjoy child-friendly facilities such as a changing mat, a toilet cubicle and a dresser. You also have toys in the house and a children's table with highchairs. Special children's crockery and cutlery are of course not lacking. Outside on the fenced terrace you will find, among other things, a picnic table to use.
Enjoy a rain shower or for example a sauna/sun combination in your holiday home. On the ground floor you will enjoy a wellness area adjacent to the terrace. Here you can relax in the 2 person sauna in your accommodation.
Holiday park De Reeuwijkse Plassen also contains specially accessible houses. These are intended for people with a physical disability.
