And from the park you can enjoy unlimited walking and cycling opportunities. Visit for example the sand drifts, the lime kilns or the dolmens in the area. On the park itself you can enjoy yourself in detached comfortable bungalows for 4 - 6 persons. So you have plenty of space, rest and privacy during your holiday. And you can bring your pet with you. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per accommodation at an additional charge.
On the park itself you will find various facilities such as playgrounds and a recreational lake with recreational beach. There are also various culinary services on offer, such as a sandwich service and a grocery package that will be waiting for you in your bungalow on arrival. You can also use the facilities of the adjacent campsite free of charge. This is only closed in the winter. Here you will find, among other things, a simple indoor swimming pool, a miniature golf course and sports fields.

Children can cross the lake via a migration raft. The accommodations on the park offer plenty of space to play together, for example in the greenery around the bungalow. And on request, a cot and/or high chair can be placed in the bungalow.
Seniors
The accommodations at Landal Hunerwold State are all detached and situated in the middle of nature. So you can enjoy all the greenery around you in peace and privacy. On the park itself you can enjoy various services, such as a sandwich service or a culinary enjoyment package at a restaurant nearby. From the park you can explore the surrounding landscape. You can walk or cycle from your bungalow straight into nature. The park borders the Drents-Friese Wold National Park. Nearby you'll find, among other things, the largest drifting sand area in the Netherlands. E-bikes can be rented directly at the park.
In and around Landal Hunerwold State there is plenty to do. The facilities are intended for young and old and are aimed at relaxation. Some facilities are located on the adjoining campsite and are closed during the winter months. We would like to highlight some of the facilities.
Water fun
The adjoining campsite of the park has an indoor swimming pool where you can go swimming in the summer months. It is a simple swimming pool that is mainly meant to pull laps. Or to teach children to swim and practice their swimming stroke. There is also a separate paddling pool. The pool can be used free of charge by guests of the holiday park. Besides the park you will also find a recreational lake. Weather permitting you can swim here in natural water. At the recreational lake you will find a recreational beach to relax.
Sport & Play
In the summer you can make use of the sports facilities of the adjacent campsite. Here you will find, among other things, a bowling alley, playing/sports fields, a mini-golf course, a volleyball court and an outdoor table tennis table. During the school holidays, the Fun & Entertainment team also organises a limited activity programme for all ages. If you want to explore the surrounding area, you can rent E-bikes, mountain bikes, tandem bikes as well as family bikes directly at the park. Skelters for a race on the park are also possible.
Child play time
For children up to 12 years there are several facilities to enjoy. You will find playgrounds and an air trampoline in the park itself. And on the recreational lake you'll find a migration raft with which you can cross the lake. Or you can play in the sand of the recreational beach. At the campsite next door you can enjoy the spectacle at the open air theatre.
Culinary delights
Enjoy the various services offered by Hunerwold State Holiday Park. For example, you can opt for the bread roll service where you receive freshly baked rolls at the door of your accommodation every morning. Or use the shopping service. You can order a standard grocery package so that the first necessities are ready for you in your bungalow. You can also order your groceries online at the nearby supermarket and have them delivered to the park. The park also offers a culinary enjoyment package. You can enjoy a breakfast buffet and a surprise dinner at the nearby Landhotel. In the summer months a snack bar is open on the adjacent campsite, where you can order snacks and takeaway meals to enjoy in your bungalow.

At Landal Hunerwold State you will find holiday bungalows for 4 -6 people. They are all detached and non-smoking. They are situated in the middle of nature and offer plenty of peace and privacy. You can choose from 5 different types in the comfort and luxury classes. If you choose the luxury class, you will enjoy, among other things, beds made on arrival. On request, a cot and a high chair can be placed in the house. And there is a maximum of 2 pets, for a surcharge, possible per accommodation.
Bungalows
The holiday bungalows at Hunerwold State Holiday Park are comfortably furnished. You have a separate sitting and dining area and an open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, a combi-microwave oven and a coffee maker. In addition to the standard kitchen inventory, of course. The bathroom has a bathtub, a shower cabin and a double washbasin. You have a separate toilet in the bungalow. In the bedroom you sleep on box springs.
