Holiday park Schuttersbos is a small-scale, cozy holiday park, adjacent to the dunes and woods of Terschelling. Here you will find detached cottages for 2-4 persons and 4-6 persons. The modern furnished accommodations are on the ground floor, non-smoking and surrounded by a green lawn. You will find a bunk bed in the cottages for children, for example. It is also possible, at an extra charge, to have a cot and a high chair placed in the accommodation. And in a number of accommodations it is possible to bring a maximum of 1 pet against payment.
In the park itself you will find various play equipment for the children to climb and clamber in. You can also enjoy hot rolls every morning, which you can pick up at the reception. And from your cottage you have plenty of opportunities to explore this Wadden Island. You will experience the island feeling as you are surrounded by dunes, forests, beaches and villages. You can walk into the woods or the dunes from your cottage. Or rent a bicycle or an E-bike to make a cycling tour over the island and through the vast landscape. The beach is just a few kilometres away. Here you can take a dip in the sea when the weather is nice. Or go beach sailing or kite surfing. You can also take a boat trip in the immediate vicinity of the park to go sea fishing.
To get to Terschelling, you can take the boat from Harlingen. If you want, you can make the crossing by car. And when you arrive in the harbour of Harlingen, Zeelen Rijwielverhuur offers the service that your luggage will be brought to the holiday park free of charge.
Fashioning with children up to 15 years old will find in Vakantiepark Schuttersbos the perfect base to explore the island. The cottages on the park contain a bunk bed and the 4-6 person accommodations also have a bed box. For an additional charge, a cot and a highchair can be placed in the bungalow. The detached, non-smoking accommodations have a lawn around the house. Children can enjoy playing equipment at the park. And in the vicinity you can go to the beach or visit the seal centre for example.
If you want to explore Terschelling, this holiday park is a must to stay. The park itself offers a limited number of facilities, but with everything there is to do in the area, you won't notice a thing. For example, you can make a bike ride through the vast landscape. E-bikes can be rented directly at the park. You can also visit the villages to have a drink on a terrace. In the park you can enjoy a detached, modern cottage. This one is on the ground floor. And from the terrace you can enjoy the natural surroundings.
Holiday Park Schuttersbos has a limited number of facilities on the park, however, in the area you will find a wide range of activities. The holiday park is the ideal base from which to discover Terschelling.
For children there are several playground equipment in the park. For example, you can swing and climb and clamber on the equipment. There is also a special wooden pirate boat where you can have lots of fun.
To explore the surroundings of the park, you can rent a wide range of bicycles directly at the park. Whether you want a cargo bike, an E-bike, a mountain bike or a children's bike - you'll find it all here. In the vicinity of the holiday park you'll find plenty of sports activities to practice. You can go kite flying on the beach, take a bike ride through the dunes or through the woods or go kite surfing on the beach.
To get the day off to a good start, you can enjoy freshly baked sandwiches every morning. You can reserve these in advance. And in the morning you can pick up hot rolls at reception.
At Vakantiepark Schuttersbos you will find detached cottages. There are two types to choose from: one for 2-4 persons and one for 4-6 persons. All accommodations are ground floor and non-smoking. And in the accommodations for 4-6 persons a maximum of 1 pet is allowed at an extra charge.
The comfortably furnished cottages include a living/dining room. Here you will find a separate sitting area with a flat screen TV and a dining area. The open kitchen includes a standard kitchen inventory with plates and cups. There is also a dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. One bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed. And at the 4-6 person cottage you will find a bedstead in the living room. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. Outside you can enjoy the peace, space and privacy from the terrace with patio furniture.
