The park offers all kinds of possibilities for water sports. There is a sailing school and a surf school. You can also rent surfboards, canoes and kayaks. There is also a surf boutique. And the park offers a trailer ramp, a boat jetty and a boat shed. You can also use the heated outdoor swimming pool. And the children will find various playground equipment scattered around the field. If you want to kick a ball you can go to the sports field. The recreation team organises all kinds of activities, including in the recreation hall. And a holiday church is held at this park.
RCN de Schotsman offers various types of accommodation, suitable for 4 - 8 people. For example, you can book a detached bungalow or a semi-detached apartment. If you want to get the feeling of camping, you can also opt for a camping chalet. The accommodations are comfortably furnished, non-smoking and offer space for, among other things, a cot. It depends on the type whether pets are allowed. From the terrace you can enjoy the watery surroundings. You can also book a pitch on the camping fields or a paved camper pitch. There are pitches that are located in the shelter, others offer more sun.
The location of this park on a lake in Zeeland ensures that there are plenty of opportunities for water sports for young and old. For example, you can take surfing lessons or make a trip on a boat. There is also an aqua park next to the holiday park. In the park itself, children can also have fun in the summer months in the outdoor swimming pool, where there is a separate paddling pool. And the recreation team organises various activities. You can stay in a bungalow, (camping) chalet or an apartment. These are all comfortably furnished. And you have a terrace or balcony at your disposal. You can also come with your own accommodation such as a tent or caravan. There are several camping pitches to choose from.
If you choose a bungalow or chalet you stay in a detached accommodation. This way you not only enjoy the view over the lake, but also plenty of peace and privacy. If you come with a camper or caravan, you can stay on a spacious camping pitch near the water. You will also find adapted showers and toilets for wheelchair users in the sanitary blocks. At the park you can take part in the holiday church, have a drink on the terrace of the brasserie by the water or explore the natural surroundings. Bicycles can be rented directly on the holiday park.
This holiday park is a must for lovers of water sports. Sailing, surfing and boating are just some of the activities you can do from the park. You can rent just about everything you need to get on the water, including sailing boats, canoes and kayaks. There is also a windsurfing school and a sailing school. Next to the park you will find a cableway and an aquapark. Surfboards and surfboard safes are also rented here. In the park you will also find a surf shop, a trailer ramp, a boat jetty and a boat shed if you come with your own boat.
Children up to and including 12 years of age enjoy a fossil field and various playground equipment scattered throughout the holiday park. An outdoor swimming pool is also open in the summer months. Here is a separate paddling pool with water devices. In the large pool you will also find various slides. By the pool is a sunbathing area.
At the park you will find, among other things, a sports field and a beach volleyball court where you can play with a ball. There are also tennis courts and there is a table tennis table and a miniature golf where you can use. The recreation team organises a recreation programme in the weekends between April and October and during the school holidays. Bingo's and shows are organized in the recreation room.
At holiday park RCN de Schotsman you can choose from various types of accommodation suitable for 4 -8 people. The holiday homes are freestanding, the apartments are semi-detached. Depending on the type of accommodation, you can bring pets with you on holiday. The accommodations are non-smoking. There is also space to place a cot and a high chair in the accommodation. If you come with your own accommodation such as a tent or trailer tent, you can also book (comfort) camping pitches and (comfort) camper pitches.
The detached bungalows and chalets at RCN de Schotsman offer a comfortable stay. The accommodations are equipped with a sitting area and a separate dining area. The open kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. You can also enjoy single beds in the bedrooms. And in the bathroom you have a shower and toilet. From the living room you step onto the (wooden) terrace with terrace furniture.
The apartments are located on the ground floor or on the first floor, directly on the waterfront. You can enjoy a view over the Veerse Meer. In the living room you will find a sitting area and chairs. There is also a dining area. The open kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker and kettle. The bedrooms are equipped with single beds. There is a separate bathroom with shower and toilet. If you choose an apartment on the ground floor, you have a terrace on the waterfront. Apartments on the first floor have a balcony overlooking the lake.
If you want the comfort of a holiday home with the feeling of camping, you can choose a camping chalet. These are located on a camping field. Here everything is in the same room, with the exception of the bathroom. You have a dining area and a kitchenette. This is equipped with, among other things, a gas hob, a refrigerator, a sink and a coffee maker. From the living room you step through the French doors onto the terrace. Here you have terrace furniture at your disposal. In the camping chalet you will find a double bed and a bunk bed.
Do you want to go on holiday with your own camper van, caravan, tent or folding trailer? Then you can book RCN de Schotsman a camping pitch. There are sunny and open pitches by the water as well as sheltered pitches on a camping pitch. You'll always find all the amenities nearby, such as sufficient water taps. If you choose a standard parking spot you will enjoy 10 ampere electricity. Comfort pitches are also available. You will enjoy your own water connection and drainage, 16 ampere electricity and a CAI connection.
There are also special paved camper pitches on the holiday park. There is a camper service station for water intake. You also have the choice of comfort pitches for camper vans. These are equipped with 16 ampere electricity, a CAI connection and a water connection. You will also find various sanitary blocks on the park. There are also special disabled showers and toilets.
