Seniors and disabled
Specially for the disabled and seniors, adapted accommodations are available on the holiday park. These are ground floor and wheelchair accessible. There is a high/low bed in the bedroom, a kitchen unit in the kitchen and a toilet with wall brackets. In the bathroom you have a shower folding chair with wall brackets. If you come camping with your own accommodation, you can make use of adapted showers and toilets in the sanitary buildings. At the park you can meet other holidaymakers in the recreation room where, for example, bingo's are organised. And if you want to explore the surrounding area, you can rent electric bikes, among other things, directly on the park.
RCN het Grote Bos offers a wide range of facilities, both sports and recreational activities for young and old. There is a brasserie with a terrace, a supermarket and you can rent bikes.
Receptions
RCN the Great Woods finds the community important and provides various moments for meetings. There is a cosy meeting place and a recreation room where all kinds of activities are organised. There is also a holiday church. Here, questions of meaning are central.
Nursery facilities
For children up to and including 12 years there are various facilities at the park. For example, they can walk the crumb trail together with the crumb trail club where they have to do all kinds of activities along the way. The recreation team also organises all kinds of activities during the school holidays and during the summer season. There is also a fossil field, a play castle, a cable car and an air trampoline. You will also find various playgrounds on the holiday park. And especially for children there is a bicycle cross track.
At a fee you can use the renewed mini golf course, the magic bowling alleys, the tennis court and the Survival course Hang-On. An extensive survival course has been laid out at various locations in the park.
Water fun
In the summer months you can enjoy the heated outdoor swimming pool on the holiday park for water fun. You'll find a slide and a water play paradise for children. There is also a sunbathing lawn where you can relax. You'll also find a natural pond on the park.

At RCN Het Grote Bos you can choose from various types of accommodation. Choose a detached holiday home or come with your own accommodation and stay on one of the camping fields. The holiday homes are suitable for 2 - 8 people. They are all comfortably furnished and depending on the accommodation you choose, you will have luxurious facilities such as a sauna. Depending on the type, pets may or may not be allowed. The accommodations are non-smoking.
Holiday houses
You will find different types of bungalows, mobile homes and chalets at RCN het Grote Bos. They are all comfortably and tastefully decorated. The living room has a seating area. And the (open) kitchen is equipped with a microwave, kettle, coffee maker and dishwasher. The bedrooms contain box-spring beds and possibly a bunk bed. You also have a separate shower and toilet area. From the living room you step through the patio doors onto the terrace with patio furniture. There are also bungalows in a Finnish atmosphere with an infrared sauna. And special family bungalows with a high chair and cot as standard.
Wheelchair accessible accommodation
People with a physical disability and in a wheelchair can stay in an adapted holiday home. These are on the ground floor. They include a kitchen unit on wheels, a high/low bed and a toilet with wall brackets. In the bathroom you will also find adaptations with a shower folding chair with wall brackets.
Lodge
Stay in a lodge with a separate lounge area and a dining table. The open kitchen is equipped with standard kitchen inventory and includes a refrigerator, a gas hob and a coffee maker. In the bedrooms you will find, for example, a double bed, a single bed or a bunk bed. You have a separate toilet and the shower is separate. Outside you can enjoy a spacious veranda. The walls of some lodges are made of attractive scaffolding wood for a natural experience.
Tiny House
Enjoy the luxury of a studio combined with a free outdoor life in a tiny house. The living and sleeping area are separated by a stylish curtain. The living room is equipped with a sitting area and a high dining area with stools. The open kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, a refrigerator, a dishwasher and a microwave. In the sleeping area there is a box spring bed. You also enjoy an XXL shower cabin and toilet in the bathroom. Outside you have a wooden deck terrace with a garden table.
Tents
Select a safari tent or tent villa to stay in. The walls and furniture in these accommodations are made of sturdy scaffolding wood. The living room is equipped with a lounge area and a dining table. In addition to the standard kitchen inventory, the open-plan kitchen also includes a fridge-freezer, a coffee maker and a gas hob. There are various sleeping options, from a 2-person four-poster bed and a bunk bed to a box bed (in the safari tent). The doors of the box bed are 1.80m high and can be reached via a steep ladder. There is a play area under the box bed. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. And outside you have a veranda.
Camping
At RCN het Grote Bos you will find various camping pitches if you come with your own tent, caravan, camper van or folding trailer. There are playfully arranged camping fields and special comfort pitches. There is natural vegetation for shelter, shade and sun. And for privacy. All pitches are spacious and at least 100m2. The standard pitches have a CAI connection. If you choose a comfort camping pitch, you also enjoy your own water tap and drainage. There are special paved camper pitches for motorhomes. Also here you can choose for comfort pitches. There are several heated sanitary blocks on the holiday park. Here you will also find adapted showers and toilets for the disabled. There is also special children's sanitary.
