Holiday park Hunzedal is located on the border of Natuurgebied de Hondsrug in Drenthe. In this wooded nature reserve you can make long walks. Or rent bikes at the park and discover the surroundings during a bike ride. Here heathlands and forests alternate. The holiday park is child friendly and equipped for families. You can stay here in a chalet, bungalow or family villa. Or on the campsite in a hunt tent, a safari tent or of course your own caravan or folding trailer. The accommodations on the park are suitable for 4 - 12 persons. They are all detached and non-smoking. You can indicate various preferences when booking, for example whether you want pets to be welcome. On the park you can enjoy a wide range of facilities. There is an indoor playground for children, as well as outdoor playgrounds and a trampoline. At Hunzedal there are many facilities for children up to 12 years old. There is the Kids Club, you can go bowling or play miniature golf together.
Seniors
There are specially adapted bungalows on the park for people with mobility problems. Here you will find, among other things, a shower with a shower chair and a raised toilet with braces. Because the accommodation is not barrier-free, it is less suitable for people in wheelchairs. To explore the surroundings, you can rent electric bicycles directly on the park. Make a beautiful trip through the Hondsrug and discover the natural landscape.
Swimming pool and wellness facilities
You can enjoy the indoor pool at the holiday park. In addition to a recreational pool, there is also a competition pool for pulling laps. The swimming pool offers many facilities, such as a slide, a rapids and a whirlpool bath. There is also a separate paddling pool. You can use swimming straps and corks for free. In the summer months the outdoor pool is also open. In the complex you will also find sauna facilities and sunbeds. There is a Turkish steam bath, a plunge pool and a foot bath. There is also a relaxation area.
Kiddling fun
For children up to and including 12 there is the Kids Club at the park. Here they can do crafts together with the park mascot Koos Konijn. There is also an indoor playground, outdoor playgrounds and a trampoline.
Sport & Play
You can use the bowling alleys, the climbing wall and the mini golf course at the park. There are also all kinds of sports and entertainment activities organized. And there are sports/playing fields to kick a ball for example. You can also rent pedal boats to make a trip on the natural water.

Holiday park Hunzedal offers detached accommodation for 4 - 12 people. You can choose from various types of accommodation, from bungalows and chalets to tents and camping pitches. Pets are allowed on the campsite, in the accommodations it depends on the type. The bungalows and tents are non-smoking.
Bungalow & Chalet
The bungalows and chalets have a living room with a separate sitting and dining area. Depending on the type, you can enjoy a fireplace in the accommodation. The open kitchen is equipped with, among other things, a microwave, a dishwasher and a coffee maker. The bedrooms have single or double beds or in some cases bunk beds. The bathroom is equipped with a shower or a bathtub. And it is up to the accommodation whether the toilet is separate or in the bathroom. Outside on the terrace you will find garden furniture.
Specially for families there is a family villa. Here you will find several bathrooms, separate toilets and bedrooms for 2 - 4 persons. This villa has one floor.
Preferences
- You can specify various preferences for most accommodations. It is possible that there is a surcharge for this. For example, you can indicate whether you want a pet-free accommodation or one where your pet is welcome. You can also indicate a preference for the location.

The bedrooms have single or double beds or bunk beds. You also have a veranda with a picnic table. There are no sanitary facilities in the tents. You can use the nearest toilet block.
Camping
If you go on holiday with your own tent or caravan, you can stay at the campsite. You can choose between a standard pitch or a comfort pitch. At the standard pitch you can enjoy 6 ampere electricity. If you choose a comfort pitch, you have 16 ampere electricity, your own water point and a digital TV connection. For all pitches a maximum of 1 extra tent is allowed. You can make free use of hot showers and there is a baby washing facility. Pets are allowed on the campsite.
