The Esmeer Recreation Park is located like a peninsula between the Esmeer and the Maas in Aalst (Gelderland). Water lovers can go surfing or swimming here, for example. In the area are also several possibilities for a walk or bike ride. Bicycles can be rented directly at the park. In the area you will come across unique nature reserves and historic villages along the way. On the park itself you will also find various facilities. For example, you can enjoy a restaurant with a bar, sports fields and a table tennis table. There are also fishing possibilities.
The (detached) holiday homes in the park are modern and stylishly furnished. They are comfortable because they have a separate sitting and dining area in the living room. There are also glass doors in the living room that take you to the landscaped terrace. Upon arrival you will find beds already made in the bungalow. Some houses are situated on the waterfront. And there are also houses where you can bring up to 2 pets. You can choose between wellness homes with a sauna in the garden, bungalows and chalets.
Feelings with (young) children who are looking for a holiday park with plenty of water fun, sit well at Recreatiepark het Esmeer. As a family you can practice a wide range of water sports on the Esmeer, where the park is located. For example, go sailing or swimming together. On the park itself you will find various facilities for young and old. There is a large playground on the park and a recreational lake with a sandy beach. With the bread service you can enjoy freshly baked rolls for breakfast every morning.
The location of the park on the water ensures that there are plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling. You can rent electric bikes at the park, so you don't have to drag them from home. You stay in (detached) bungalows that provide plenty of space, comfort and privacy. Here you can receive extra (light) care if, for example, you have difficulty walking or are recovering from an operation. The park offers comfort services. For example, it is possible to get household help or organise a day out with transport.
At the holiday park you will find a sports field to kick a ball, for example. There is also a playground for children to play on. And there are fishing possibilities at the park where you can throw out your fishing rod. The park is situated on the recreational lake Esmeer where you will also find a sunbathing lawn. Here you can practice various water sports. There is also a harbour on the park from where you can take a boat for example.
With the BBQ service you will receive everything you need for barbecuing in your bungalow. You can choose from various packages, including meat, fish and vegetables. The park also offers a restaurant with a bar. And every morning you can enjoy freshly baked sandwiches with the sandwich service.
If you are in need of care, you can organize extra (light) care with your regular contact person at Recreatiepark het Esmeer. So you can get home care in your holiday home, help with housework can be arranged and you enjoy a grocery service. It is also possible to arrange a day out with transport.
At Recreatiepark het Esmeer you will find bungalows and chalets suitable for 4 to 6 persons. There are accommodations that are situated by the water / by the pond, others are situated in a more wooded area. All holiday homes are non-smoking. And depending on the accommodation, up to a maximum of 2 pets are allowed.
The accommodations in the park are modern and stylishly furnished. In the living room you can enjoy large windows and glass doors. So you have plenty of natural light in your holiday home. The spacious living area has a separate sitting and dining area. In the adjoining kitchen you will find a fridge, a freezer, an oven, a gas stove and a microwave. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet and shower. You will find beds already made on arrival in the bungalow. It is possible that one room has a bunk bed. The landscaped terrace is furnished with patio furniture.
If you want to enjoy private sauna facilities in the bungalow, choose a wellness accommodation. Here you have a sauna and a jacuzzi in the garden. You will also find an outdoor shower.
