Facilities Holiday Park Ackersate

Ackersate has many different facilities. We explain the most important ones:

1. Swimming pools

The pool consists of a large (10x25m) outdoor pool, a large (10x20m) indoor pool, a children's pool (70cm deep plus two slides), a splash pool for the little ones and a whirlpool whirlpool tub. There are also two large slides. The Crazy Cone is slide with funnel and in the Super Glider you go down at full speed.

1.2. Animation and theatre

During the school holidays there is an extensive recreational programme for young and old. Most activities are aimed at children aged 4-12 years. In high season there is a disco evening on Thursday evenings for high school children. Various youth evenings are also organised. In the theatre there are exciting treasure hunts. There are also various film evenings.

1.3. Trampoline park

Ackersate has its own trampoline park. Recently this is also covered. The trampoline park is also available for people who are not staying at Ackersate. Please note that each jumping session has to be paid for. Also for people who stay at the park. If you want to jump more often you can buy a special card for multiple sessions. A jumping session takes about 20 minutes. Grip socks are mandatory. You can buy them on the spot if you don't have them yourself.

1.4. Children's parties

1.5. Water valley

The water valley is a combination of sand, water and playground equipment. Children can have fun here with a cable car, slide, water pumps and sand hoists.

1.7. Sport and play

Holiday park Ackersate is packed with playground equipment, various sports fields, playgrounds, bouncy castles and much more. You can also play mini-golf, rent a bike, jeux de boulen, volleyball, football, tennis. Actually, the question is what you can't find on this park. Please note that for some activities (such as tennis and bouncy castle) must be paid.

2. Catering

The park has several catering establishments where you can eat, drink and have an ice cream. Think of a:

3. Room rental

At holiday park Ackersate you can also rent various rooms:

The park has several modern sanitary facilities. Camping pitches with private sanitary facilities are also possible.

Accommodations Holiday park Ackersate

With your own tent, caravan or motorhome you can choose from the different types of pitches offered by the holiday park. All pitches, from Comfort to Comfort XL+, have their own water point and drainage. You also have 10 ampere electricity and a CAI connection for cable. The spacious pitches are situated on fields and vary in surface area from 100 to 130 m2. If you are looking for extra luxury and convenience, a Comfort XL+ pitch has private sanitary facilities. There are pet-friendly pitches. And the fields have playgrounds for the children. Would you like to camp with a large group? To this end, the park has a group campsite with its own sanitary building.

You can also rent a chalet, mobile home or bungalow on the park. The luxurious and stylishly furnished accommodations are suitable for 2 to 6 persons. There is also a 12-person bungalow available if you want to go on holiday with a larger group. The bungalows have a terrace or veranda so you can enjoy the beautiful weather and surroundings. For groups of up to 6 people who like camping and are looking for luxury, there are glamping accommodations. These offer all convenience and comfort, in nature. The park also organises special trips for senior citizens, where you stay overnight in a chalet and take part in a varied weekly programme.

Discover the surroundings of holiday park Ackersate

By the central location near the Veluwe you also have many possibilities outside the park.

1. The Veluwe

Holiday park Ackersate is centrally located a few kilometers from the beautiful Veluwe. The Veluwe is known for its extensive forests (1000 km2) and is the largest nature reserve in the Netherlands. The area consists of forests, heathland, fens, streams and sand drifts. In the Veluwe you can find many different cycling and hiking trails. Perfect for a day enjoying nature.

The national park the Hoge Veluwe is about 22 km from Ackersate. From the Hoge Veluwe you can visit many other special places. You can get there easily by car. If you're a bit more sporty you can also rent a bike at Ackersate. Please note that you have to buy a ticket to visit the area. This ticket includes rental bikes to explore the area. You also have access to the Museonder.

2. The Apelheul

At a distance of 24 kilometres from holiday park Ackersate lies the Apenheul. The special thing about the Apenheul is not only the many different species of monkeys, but also the beautiful nature. Even if you are not a fan of monkeys, the location and layout of the park is truly beautiful.

3. Children's amusement park Julianatoren

At a distance of 23 kilometers lies children's amusement park Julianatoren. In this amusement park there are many attractions for young and old. Think of roller coasters, slides, bumper cars, playgrounds, Ferris wheel, dino tour and much more. Are you tired of holiday park Ackersate, this is the perfect place for children to have a whole day of fun.

4. Recreational lake Zeumeren

At less than 5 minutes from the park you will find Recreational lake Zeumeren. This versatile area allows you to carry out a variety of sporting activities. Shortgolfing, waterskiing, canoeing and wakeboarding are just a few examples. There are also several sandy beaches and sunbathing areas near the area, as well as catering establishments. You can very well spend a day here with the family and enjoy this adventure paradise.
