Holiday park Ackersate is a 5 star family campsite located in the Veluwe (Gelderland). Ackersate focuses mainly on families with children of all ages. Most activities on the park are aimed at primary school children (4-12 years).
There is an enthusiastic animation team, outdoor trampoline park, playgrounds, animal pasture and waterfall. But there are also activities for older children including a 'panna' field, tennis, football, basketball, billiard tables and movie nights in the theatre. Every Thursday evening during the main season there is a disco evening for high school children. Youth evenings are also regularly organised.
With two large slides, a waterfall, a large indoor and outdoor pool, Ackersate is a paradise for children. There is also a children's pool and splash pool for toddlers. Parents can relax in a heated whirlpool whirlpool.
Ackersate is a real family campsite but also focuses on special senior travels. The package consists of luxuriously furnished detached bungalows on a quiet spot on the edge of the woods. Fully catered for on a full board basis. Which means that breakfast, lunch and dinner are fully catered for. The whole week is fully planned with trips to, for example, Leerdam and museum Soest, bus tours, entertainment and various evening activities.
By the central location near the Veluwe you also have many possibilities outside the park. The Apenheul is 24 km away. Do you want to see something more than just monkeys you can also visit Veterna Park Amersfoort. Dierenpark Amersfoort is about 25 km from the park and is therefore easily accessible. Kinder amusement park Julianatoren is 23 km away. Perfect for a day out with the children. If you like peace and quiet, the National Park: De Hoge Veluwe is 22 km away. In this nature reserve with noble deer, wild boar, heather, forests and dunes you will find many cycling and hiking trails for a wonderful day in nature. Many cycling routes start and end at holiday park Ackersate. You can rent bikes at the holiday park.
At less than 5 minutes from the park you will find Recreatieplas Zeumeren. This versatile area allows you to carry out a variety of sporting activities. Shortgolfing, water skiing, canoeing and wakeboarding are just a few examples. There are also several sandy beaches and sunbathing areas near the area, as well as catering establishments. You can very well spend a day here with the family and enjoy this adventure paradise.

The pool consists of a large (10x25m) outdoor pool, a large (10x20m) indoor pool, a children's pool (70cm deep plus two slides), a splash pool for the little ones and a whirlpool whirlpool tub. There are also two large slides. The Crazy Cone is slide with funnel and in the Super Glider you go down at full speed.
During the school holidays there is an extensive recreational programme for young and old. Most activities are aimed at children aged 4-12 years. In high season there is a disco evening on Thursday evenings for high school children. Various youth evenings are also organised. In the theatre there are exciting treasure hunts. There are also various film evenings.
Ackersate has its own trampoline park. Recently this is also covered. The trampoline park is also available for people who are not staying at Ackersate. Please note that each jumping session has to be paid for. Also for people who stay at the park. If you want to jump more often you can buy a special card for multiple sessions. A jumping session takes about 20 minutes. Grip socks are mandatory. You can buy them on the spot if you don't have them yourself.

.The water valley is a combination of sand, water and playground equipment. Children can have fun here with a cable car, slide, water pumps and sand hoists.
Holiday park Ackersate is packed with playground equipment, various sports fields, playgrounds, bouncy castles and much more. You can also play mini-golf, rent a bike, jeux de boulen, volleyball, football, tennis. Actually, the question is what you can't find on this park. Please note that for some activities (such as tennis and bouncy castle) must be paid.

With your own tent, caravan or motorhome you can choose from the different types of pitches offered by the holiday park. All pitches, from Comfort to Comfort XL+, have their own water point and drainage. You also have 10 ampere electricity and a CAI connection for cable. The spacious pitches are situated on fields and vary in surface area from 100 to 130 m2. If you are looking for extra luxury and convenience, a Comfort XL+ pitch has private sanitary facilities. There are pet-friendly pitches. And the fields have playgrounds for the children. Would you like to camp with a large group? To this end, the park has a group campsite with its own sanitary building.
You can also rent a chalet, mobile home or bungalow on the park. The luxurious and stylishly furnished accommodations are suitable for 2 to 6 persons. There is also a 12-person bungalow available if you want to go on holiday with a larger group. The bungalows have a terrace or veranda so you can enjoy the beautiful weather and surroundings. For groups of up to 6 people who like camping and are looking for luxury, there are glamping accommodations. These offer all convenience and comfort, in nature. The park also organises special trips for senior citizens, where you stay overnight in a chalet and take part in a varied weekly programme.

Holiday park Ackersate is centrally located a few kilometers from the beautiful Veluwe. The Veluwe is known for its extensive forests (1000 km2) and is the largest nature reserve in the Netherlands. The area consists of forests, heathland, fens, streams and sand drifts. In the Veluwe you can find many different cycling and hiking trails. Perfect for a day enjoying nature.
The national park the Hoge Veluwe is about 22 km from Ackersate. From the Hoge Veluwe you can visit many other special places. You can get there easily by car. If you're a bit more sporty you can also rent a bike at Ackersate. Please note that you have to buy a ticket to visit the area. This ticket includes rental bikes to explore the area. You also have access to the Museonder.
Museum.At a distance of 24 kilometres from holiday park Ackersate lies the Apenheul. The special thing about the Apenheul is not only the many different species of monkeys, but also the beautiful nature. Even if you are not a fan of monkeys, the location and layout of the park is truly beautiful.
At a distance of 23 kilometers lies children's amusement park Julianatoren. In this amusement park there are many attractions for young and old. Think of roller coasters, slides, bumper cars, playgrounds, Ferris wheel, dino tour and much more. If you are looking for an indoor activity with children up to 12 years old, you can go to Monkey Town Voorthuizen. This well-kept and safe indoor play paradise offers plenty of fun. Here you'll find tunnels to crawl through, objects to climb and clamber over, slides to search down, ball boxes, trampolines and air cushions.
A fun day out for young and old can be experienced at Speelpark and Maisma Maze Voorthuizen. Here you can make a quest through the maze with questions. There is also a climbing tower of up to 6 metres high, a corn swimming pool and an indoor playground for when the weather is a day less. You will also find a luxury meat shop on site. Here you can buy beef from your own farm and prepare a delicious meal on the park.
In the veluwe you can find many different cycling and walking sooths. Some start at holiday park Ackersate. You can also rent bicycles at Ackersate. If you want to cycle in the nature reserve of the Veluwe, please note that you have to buy a ticket. This ticket includes rental bikes.
