Parking is available directly at the houseThe small village of Diex is the sunniest mountain village in Austria with more than 2,000 proven hours of sunshine per year, lies at around 1,200 metres above sea level on the southern slope of the Saualpe, above the Jaun and Lavant valleys and offers unique panoramic views. In Diex in the south of Austria, around 2,000 kilometres of hiking trails lead across mountains and valleys, past numerous lakes to little-known places in the remote villages and valleys with their unique scenic flair.With a depth of 48 metres and a water temperature of up to 29 degrees, the famous Lake Klopeiner See is the largest, best known and warmest of the 7 lakes in southern Carinthia and can be reached by car in less than 30 minutes.
