The wonderful wooded landscape with numerous beautiful hiking trails and cycle routes is perfect for an excursion, a break or a short holiday. The Mountainbike Trail Centre Vienna is located in the immediate vicinity, where even experienced mountain bikers can get their money's worth. In Mauerbach and the surrounding area there are numerous restaurants and bars, supermarkets and other shopping facilities such as the Auhof Center Vienna shopping centre.In summer, the public outdoor swimming pools Wienerwaldbad in Purkersdorf, Höpflerbad in Vienna, the outdoor pool in Pressbaum and the bathing pond in Laxenburg with 3 jetties, 2 beach volleyball courts and 17,000 m2 of sunbathing area offer plenty of bathing fun!
