Camping with views of the AdriaticYou will be staying overnight within three hundred metres of the Adriatic at this Croatian campsite, and you can enjoy swimming, surfing and diving. If you prefer a large swimming pool, that’s no problem because Stella Maris campsite has a couple of excellent swimming pools. Your children will also love the wonderful climbing trail at this campsite. You will be camping close to the town of Umag in the Istrian region. Sunset above the seaJust imagine: you are sitting outside your caravan, motorhome or tent at Stella Maris campsite, in the shade of a tall tree. The sun slowly begins to set. You gaze out over the Adriatic. That’s a real holiday! You can always enjoy it at Stella Maris campsite. Everything is super modern and luxurious! Go out for a walk and ice cream in UmagThere is plenty to do in the vicinity of the campsite. If you want to stretch your legs, walk to the small town of Umag. You can be standing in the ancient part of this lively town within half an hour. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the boulevard. Pick your spot, order a glass of wine and enjoy the setting sun. Soak up the waterGet up early to take a dip in the swimming pool? You’ll never need to look far to find water at Stella Maris campsite. The large swimming pool is close to the entrance of this Croatian campsite, and you can play here with your children. They have also thought about the youngest, as there is a paddling pool for them. And what else? Just walk to the Adriatic; you’ll be standing in a shallow round bay within a couple of minutes. You can play safely here in the water with the whole family. Diving or climbing?If you want to swap a day in the swimming pool for a day of sport, that’s easy at Stella Maris. There is a watersports centre close by. The crystal clear water is a paradise for snorkellers, divers and windsurfers. The climbing course at the campsite will be a great hit with the children. After all that climbing and clambering you can relax once again in the swimming pool. Get something to eat in the restaurant in the evening with all of you, and your day is almost at an end. Almost, because you might want to round off the evening with a children’s disco or a live concert. Top class tennisIf you love tennis, this is your perfect campsite. You probably saw the tennis courts on the other side of the road when you were on your way to Stella Maris. You can of course knock a ball around yourself, or you might also get to see top names from the tennis world. The Croatian Open Umag is held here every year, usually at the end of July. This ATP tournament attracts many visitors, especially at the weekend. It’s very busy at the campsite during that period and it can be noisy until late into the night. Take note of that when you book your holiday.
