There is a stream running across the campsite, perfect for children to splash around in. The campsite has a low-key Christian background. Sundays are seen as days of rest, for example. Everyone is free to participate in related activities, but this is definitely not required. Basic restaurant and little supermarketNext to the reception you will find a basic restaurant with a limited-choice menu with simple dishes, where you can eat in or take away. There is an attractive bar and a small supermarket with fresh bread and meat.Enchanting countryside and charming townsThe area offers endless walking, cycling and canoeing. The charming town of Vianden, with its beautifully restored castle and numerous other attractions, is an absolute must. There are also interesting and modern sights in the area, such as Stolzembourg, with its reservoir and power plant, and the copper mine. You can also visit historic Echternach on the gentle slopes of the Moselle or the lovely city of Luxembourg with lots of authentic sights, such as the cathedral, the squares and the casemates.Luxembourg is a small country, so you can literally make day trips throughout the land. Be sure to use public transport, as it is free! Don't skip the walking and cycling paradise of Mullerthal, a beautiful area. Use the Luxembourg Card, which allows you to travel by train and visit many museums for free. Just across the border you will find the beautiful town of Trier, the oldest city in Germany.
