One of them might want to play a round of (beach) volleyball, while another plays football, and yet another runs around the table tennis table in dizzying circles. The children will undoubtedly amuse themselves in the large playground, or maybe they'll make friends in the miniclub.The leisure pool is laid out in a beautiful lagoon style, so you can dream away while taking a refreshing dip. There are many lovely beaches, and the long sandy beaches at L'Estartit are perfect for young children and inexperienced swimmers.There are plenty of places worth a visit in the vicinity. A market is held somewhere every day of the week. Walk along the narrow streets of Tossa del Mar, where you'll find plenty of small bars, restaurants and artists' studios. When you enter the town of Pals, you will imagine you are in the Middle Ages. Gerona is a beautiful historic town, and the old, completely restored centre is encircled by a city wall. Well worth visiting is the labyrinth of narrow lanes in the old Jewish quarter, known as El Call.Feel at home on the campsiteCultural evenings, discos, evenings with live music and karaoke are organised in high season. You can eat and drink well in the bar and restaurant, but if you prefer to eat at your place, the well-stocked supermarket with a bakery sells everything you will need.You can stay in touch with the outside world while you're at this Spanish campsite using the free internet that is available throughout the grounds. Dream locationSènia Cala Canyelles campsite is located between Lloret de Mar and Tossa de Mar. The campsite is on the side of a hill, with significant differences in height, so a bit of climbing is all part of it. The higher you go, the better the sea views… If you camp lower down in the grounds, you’ll have your feet in the warm sandy beach. Makes choosing difficult! In either case you can prepare yourself for a holiday in a dream location, full of sun, sand and sea. Gua Gua trainThe children will think it’s great to travel on the yellow train to the beach. The Gua Gua rides throughout the high season from the highest point of the campsite to the beach. There you’ll find one of the loveliest bays on the Costa Brava. If you’ve had enough of the sand, the campsite’s swimming pool is the place to cool off and play, while you enjoy an ice cream or a drink on the terrace with the children... From playground to watching the fishIn addition to fun in the water, there’s plenty for the kids to do at Sènia Cala Canyelles campsite. They will have a wonderful time enjoying themselves in the playground. If you’re not in the mood to think up something yourself, the entertainment team is standing by.The surroundings have plenty of activities on offer. If you like walking, there are lovely footpaths along the Costa Brava, close to the Mediterranean Sea. Cyclists have a choice; either you go for a tough climb up in the mountains, or simply relax on the many flat roads. The last one is perfect to do with the children.If you’re looking for something sportive in the water, the bay next to the campsite is renowned for its crystal clear water. You really can watch the fish! There are various diving schools in the area which give you the chance to take the plunge. If you feel happier on the water, rather than under it, you can try a kayak or SUP. Imagine yourself on a SUP discovering all those bays that people cannot visit on foot. Grab something tastyAll this activity will make you hungry, so you can always go to the campsite shop. There’s plenty on sale for a tasty evening meal. How about a drink at the Chill-Out Bar, then stay around on the terrace where you can enjoy some delicious dishes? Take away meals are also possible, which is fine if you want to eat at your own place. If you want some entertainment there are plenty of live shows with music in the evenings. Away from the campsiteIf you fancy something more than swimming and lazing around, there are plenty of lovely towns to visit not far from the campsite. Tossa de Mar is a fifteen minute drive from the campsite, and is a lively and family friendly town. Take a relaxed walk along the boulevard; something you can also do in nearby Lloret de Mar.

Not only does the park look lovely and luxurious, but you can also get spoilt to the full here. You can, for example, go for a swim in the lovely swimming pool and then relax on one of the sun loungers. By the swimming pool there is a shallow section for children. There is a stylish restaurant where you can enjoy delicious Mediterranean dishes, such as paella, meat or fish. All the dishes are made with local produce. From the restaurant’s patio, you have lovely views of the hills and the Mediterranean Sea. You will find a pool bar by the pool, where you can order a tasty cocktail after a refreshing swim. If you’d like some homemade pizza, you can order that from the food truck. A fun fact: the campsite has its own kitchen garden, with seasonal vegetables and herbs which are served to the guests. Go out and about in Costa BravaThis beautiful Spanish region has much to offer: delicious food, stunning beaches and plenty of culture. The village of Begur is close by. It has a small centre but is well worth visiting. There is a weekly market on the central square. You will also see many colonial houses in the village. Begur has no fewer than eight bays – including Sa Riera – each with their own characteristics and beauty. If you would like a day of culture, go to Gerona or bustling Barcelona. If you like walking, there is a long 500-kilometre walking route along the entire Costa Brava called the Cami de Ronda. You can of course also walk part of this route and explore the lovely countryside and coastline. Day out at the amusement parkNear Talaia Plaza Ecoresort campsite, you will find several amusement and water parks. At just under an hour’s drive near Lloret de Mar, you will find WaterWorld. This is a large water park with many attractions and spectacular slides. You can even go bungee jumping here! A little bit closer there is Aquadiver (29 km), a fun water park where you can easily spend an entire day. Or visit PP’s Park (30 km), a theme park in Platja d’Aro.

You are a fifteen minute drive from the sea, but you can also enjoy wonderful swimming at the campsite.Every convenience providedMas Patoxas campsite is a spaciously laid out terraced campsite with plenty of trees There are wide paths with touring pitches at one end of the campsite. Mobile homes and bungalows have their own section. The campsite attracts a large number of families who like to come back, which is not surprising when you see the two large swimming pools. And the same goes for the many sports facilities and super-fun entertainment. You won't need to leave the campsite to do your shopping. If you don't feel like cooking, make your way to the restaurant terrace in the evening. Meat, fish, paella or fries, there's plenty of choice for everyone. Playground equipment is provided throughout the campsite. Teenagers can meet each other at the billiards and the table tennis, and plenty of things are organised in the summer months; a miniclub for the youngest, a disco or foam party for the teenagers and performances for the adults. One of the large pools has a slide and a lovely lawn with palm trees. There is also plenty to do around the campsite. If you want to get a bit further away, there is plenty to explore along the coast. The beach at Pals is close by and is one of the longest on the Costa Brava. The wide stretch of golden sand is perfect for all types of beach games. One side of the beach looks out onto the Medes Islands and the other side has views of marshland or rice fields. Further along the coast it becomes more rugged, with cliffs and small bays. This makes a nice change.A tourist train through the rice fieldsMas Patoxas campsite forms part of the Montgrí nature reserve, the Medes Islands and the mouth of the River Ter. You can go hiking in the woods of the Montgrí Massif from the campsite. The region around Pals is renowned for the cultivation of rice in the marshland just inland from the coast. You can explore this region by bike, on foot or on a small tourist train. In addition to Pals there are many other picturesque villages worth visiting from Mas Patoxas campsite.

A lovely family campsite with well maintained grounds arranged in terraces with plenty of Mediterranean bushes and trees which provide a wonderful summer ambiance. A great beachThe amenities at this campsite in Spain are good and complete, including an excellent supermarket, restaurant and sports ground. There is of course a water park with slides at Interpals Eco Resort campsite, beautifully located among the trees. There is also a shallow section of the pool and a terrace all round which is a good place to be in the heat of the day. The beach is only a short way, with a couple of small, friendly restaurants and shops. Plenty of day tripsBe sure not to forget to discover the beautiful Catalan countryside inland as well as the many sights from the rich historical past of the Girona region. Well worthwhile are the fully restored medieval centres of Pals and Begur, dominated by a Moorish castle. The excavations at Ullastret (Iberian) and Empuries (Roman) are most interesting, as is the picturesque castle museum at Pubols (dedicated to Dali and Gala), the ceramic shops in La Bisbal and the intimate fishing harbour of Sa Tuna. Pure fun is to be had at the Aqua Diver water park in Platja d'Aro. And for anyone who longs for the bustle of a busy city, Barcelona is a two-hour drive to the south of Interpals Eco Resort campsite.
