You stay right by the beach, in a large forest with pine trees and olive trees. If the Italian sun gets a bit much, you can walk straight to the shaded camping grounds, or jump in the Adriatic Sea to cool yourself down. Slide down the crazy frogPack your swimwear and swimming cap because you are going swimming! Your children will also love the wonderful climbing trail at this campsite. You will be camping close to the town of Umag in the Istrian region. Sunset above the seaJust imagine: you are sitting outside your caravan, motorhome or tent at Stella Maris campsite, in the shade of a tall tree. The sun slowly begins to set. You gaze out over the Adriatic. That’s a real holiday! You can always enjoy it at Stella Maris campsite. Everything is super modern and luxurious! Go out for a walk and ice cream in UmagThere is plenty to do in the vicinity of the campsite. If you want to stretch your legs, walk to the small town of Umag. You can be standing in the ancient part of this lively town within half an hour. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from along the boulevard. Pick your spot, order a glass of wine and enjoy the setting sun. Soak up the waterGet up early to take a dip in the swimming pool? You probably saw the tennis courts on the other side of the road when you were on your way to Stella Maris. You can of course knock a ball around yourself, or you might also get to see top names from the tennis world. The Croatian Open Umag is held here every year, usually at the end of July. This ATP tournament attracts many visitors, especially at the weekend. It’s very busy at the campsite during that period and it can be noisy until late into the night. Take note of that when you book your holiday.

However, there is a lovely swimming pool at the campsite itself. Ideal to take a refreshing dip in the evening after a strenuous day in the city. For children there is a separate children's pool. They can also jump on the trampoline and play table tennis. The friendly atmosphere and the fine facilities are also noteworthy. Ideal for city tripCamping Sokol Praha is a lovely place for families with children, but also for other campers. Ideal for a short city trip to the beautiful capital of the Czech Republic or a longer holiday with a day in the city now and then. UNESCO-listedThe entire historical centre of Prague is listed as a UNESCO monument and it is also a great city for eating out or having a drink in one of the atmospheric cafes or coffee houses.  Prague is the city of a hundred towersPrague is also called the 'City of a hundred towers'. You will find all kinds of architectural styles in this centuries-old metropolis. The city has an authentic atmosphere, you really feel as if you are in the past. This is mainly because Prague is one of the few large European cities that was spared almost entirely during the Second World War. Camping Sokol is also a great base from which to explore the rest of the picturesque rural Czech Republic.

You can walk in your sleep from your camping pitch or accommodation onto the pebble beach, and you can swim here, enjoy the sun or seek the shade of the adjacent oak forest.
