Many cycling and walking tours can be made from the cottage; the cottage is located on a cycling junction route. Various cycling and hiking routes are available in the cottage. You can also explore the area on a scooter or an E-chopper, for rent at Actief Twente in Beuningen. The nature reserve 'Het Lutterzand' is particularly beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Walk along the meandering Dinkel or cycle through the area and rest at one of the catering establishments. Het Hulsbeek' in Oldenzaal is also a fine area for walking, cycling or swimming in one of the natural swimming ponds. In winter, if it has frozen hard enough, there is an ice rink on one of the natural ponds. Because the building is in the center of Enkhuizen, you can walk straight into the city. Here, you will find a variety of shops and restaurants. The town has beautiful old buildings. This, with its location on the Zuiderzee, the boats, canals, and nice museums, make this the perfect place for a beautiful stayEnkhuizen is a beautiful historical town. Its location on the Zuiderzee offers a combination of water fun and the ambiance and entertainment of a big city.Before Amsterdam became the capital, Enkhuizen was the most important trading town. And you can see that everywhere-the beautiful old buildings, the lovely details, and the wide range of catering establishments. You find lovely bistros, cozy cafés, and many fine restaurants everywhere. If you like shopping, you will also see what you need here. Apart from the big shops, there are many specialty shops, most located in beautiful buildings. Enkhuizen also has many fascinating museums. The Zuiderzee Museum is an absolute must. You can easily spend a whole day wandering around this large open-air museum. Old houses are reconstructed, old crafts come to life, and children can play with old toys. If you want to visit Enkhuizen with children, you can see the nostalgic playground Kindervreugde. But we also definitely recommend Sprookjeswonderland.
