Its location on the Zuiderzee offers a combination of water fun and the ambiance and entertainment of a big city.Before Amsterdam became the capital, Enkhuizen was the most important trading town. And you can see that everywhere-the beautiful old buildings, the lovely details, and the wide range of catering establishments. You find lovely bistros, cozy cafés, and many fine restaurants everywhere. If you like shopping, you will also see what you need here. Apart from the big shops, there are many specialty shops, most located in beautiful buildings. Enkhuizen also has many fascinating museums. The Zuiderzee Museum is an absolute must.
