A holiday by the water: always something to do! Waking up with a view of the Veluwe Lake: it doesn't get any better than this. The lake runs all the way into the holiday park, so at campsite Europarcs Veluwemeer almost all the pitches offer a view of the water. And, of course, a holiday by a lake means wonderful long days of water sports. There's plenty to do for the whole family. This is a great place to enjoy the outdoors.A beautiful Dutch water landscapeEuroparcs Veluwemeer is located on the water of Lake Veluwe at 4.5 kilometres from the town of Nunspeet. This campsite has many accommodations on the lake or on the stream. Wherever you are on the campsite, there is always water nearby. The campsite even has its own beach, a marina and a water sports centre! In the marina you can moor your own boat and at the water sports centre you can learn windsurfing, kite surfing and stand-up paddle boarding. There's also a boat rental. Are you ready for an active holiday?Splashing aroundLake Veluwe has a beach that slopes down slowly, so your little ones can have a nice bare-foot paddle here too! The lake is mostly shallow, so it's not a good place to dive. Fancy some active swimming or a dive into the water? You can do so in the campsite's outdoor pool between April and September.In the areaThe best excursions are within easy reach from your pitch or accommodation. You could visit Dolfinarium Harderwijk, which is 14 kilometres from the park. Here you can watch dolphins from up close! Or pay a visit to theme park Walibi Holland (18 km from the park). Feel that adrenaline rush in one of the many roller coasters. How many loop-de-loops can you do in a day? If you're not such a daredevil, you can go shopping in Harderwijk or visit historic monuments in Elburg (13 km from the campsite). Or just spend the whole holiday enjoying the water. Veluwe Lake never gets boring!
