And not just for its beautiful location in southern Germany, the region around Passau on the Danube and the start of the Bohemian Woods that continue deep into the Czech Republic. This means endless forests where you can walk for miles without meeting anyone.Indulge your body and mindThere are plenty of amenities for indulging body and mind at Lackenhäuser camping park. There is a masseur, an indoor (heated) swimming pool, sauna, solarium, spa baths and a practice for naturopathy. A mini paradise in summer and winterIn winter this is wonderful place for downhill or cross country skiing in the pure mountain air of the Bavarian Forest. The grounds are not called a 'camping park' without reason; you will camp in a real parkland setting. This is also a wonderful area in winter for walking and relaxing.
