You can definitely expect snow here in winter. The highest mountain in the Eifel, the Black Man (675 metres), is nearby. If there is enough snow, you can even go skiing there. But the main reason to go on holiday here is the peace and quiet and the nature. You will find a few small villages and otherwise a hilly and wooded landscape.Prüm is the nearest larger town. Here you can eat in one of the restaurants, shop and swim in an indoor pool. The St Salvator Basilica, where Christ's sandals are kept as a relic, and Prüm Abbey are beautiful and invite you to linger.
