The cosy villages all have their own character but wherever you end up, you will receive a friendly welcome and delicious food and, of course, wine. You can book a boat trip on the Moselle at several places. Very nice to go to Germany's oldest city, Trier, that way.If you head just south from this holiday home, you will come to Nature Reserve Saar-Hunsrück and 19 km from Idarkopf mountain. It is worth driving to Idar Oberstein.
