Kreischberg organises regular freestyle ski world cup competitions for good reason. There is also a huge amount to do for children on the first plateau. There is no shortage of cosy ski huts and restaurant where you can eat and drink at very reasonable prices. In addition, there is no mass tourism here and due to the presence of the brand-new lifts, no waiting times at the lifts and this area has a very convivial après-ski atmosphere. The funpark is among the absolute world's best! Big competitions are organised here every year. For cross-country skiers and winter hikers, there are countless possibilities here. Feel like sledding? That too is possible here! The local train stops right behind this resort. In summer, a visit to the beautiful medieval town of Murau with its cosy shops, restaurants and pleasant terraces is highly recommended. Besides beautiful walks in the mountains, you can also hike or cycle along the Mur cycle path. This is a famous cycling path along the Mur River in the region.
