For lovers of nineteenth-century painting, the Musée Gustave Courbet is highly recommended.A little further afield (26 km) lies the larger town of Besançon. This is the place to be for culture lovers, with its historic centre with several museums and a citadel. The citadel, located at 118 meters, houses three museums. And fun for the kids: there is also a zoo!
