From here you have breathtaking views of Austria's highest mountain, the Großglockner. The ski area is clear and has plenty of easy runs. There are excellent practice slopes, ski schools with playing fields and treadmills. This makes this ski area very popular with families with children. Want to spend a day skiing somewhere else? The Gasteinertal or the Hochkönig region are nearby.Outside winter, nature lovers or active holidaymakers are sure to get their money's worth here too. Located in a narrow green valley, Rauris is surrounded by mountains belonging to the National Park Hohe Tauern. Within 30 minutes you can reach the famous Kaprun glacier. You can ski all year round here!
