You are a fifteen minute drive from the sea, but you can also enjoy wonderful swimming at the campsite.Every convenience providedMas Patoxas campsite is a spaciously laid out terraced campsite with plenty of trees There are wide paths with touring pitches at one end of the campsite. Mobile homes and bungalows have their own section. The campsite attracts a large number of families who like to come back, which is not surprising when you see the two large swimming pools. And the same goes for the many sports facilities and super-fun entertainment. You won't need to leave the campsite to do your shopping. If you don't feel like cooking, make your way to the restaurant terrace in the evening. Meat, fish, paella or fries, there's plenty of choice for everyone. Playground equipment is provided throughout the campsite. Teenagers can meet each other at the billiards and the table tennis, and plenty of things are organised in the summer months; a miniclub for the youngest, a disco or foam party for the teenagers and performances for the adults. There is even a doctor's post during the summer.Small bays and long beachesSwimming and sunbathing, a holiday on the Costa Brava is not complete without it. Spend your days lazing on the campsite and enjoy the swimming pools. Mas Patoxas campsite has two of them and there is also a paddling pool. You can go hiking in the woods of the Montgrí Massif from the campsite. The region around Pals is renowned for the cultivation of rice in the marshland just inland from the coast. You can explore this region by bike, on foot or on a small tourist train. In addition to Pals there are many other picturesque villages worth visiting from Mas Patoxas campsite.

A visit to Barcelona should not be missed, because during a walk on the Ramblas the holiday feeling is stimulated even more. A tropical surprise on the Spanish coastThis charming family campsite is located in a botanical garden on Spain's Costa Dorada. That means a camping holiday in a completely tropical ambiance. The area around Playa Bara offers every amenity. There is a large supermarket with products from Spain and many other countries, restaurants, a takeaway restaurant, (snack) bars, cash machine and gift shop. You can even get newspapers from home! The campsite is located near the town of Roda de Barà, between Barcelona and Tarragona. You can swim and sunbathe in a relaxed way in and around the swimming pool which is surrounded by palm trees. If you want to relax after a busy day, there is a sauna and beauty centre. What a wonderful way to round off a day on holiday in Spain.If you prefer to go to the beach, you can walk to the extensive sandy beach at Roda de Barà from the campsite. This beach is renowned for the quality of its water and the clean, beautiful sand. Not surprising that it's known as the 'golden coast'. You can also try snorkelling, windsurfing and water skiing here. Roman remainsYou might get the feeling you are stepping back into Ancient Rome at Playa Bara. That's not surprising, as the town of Tarragona, full of Roman monuments, is close by. You can see a real Roman amphitheatre and a large Roman aqueduct here. You will see Roman elements on the campsite too, but fortunately these are more modern. The swimming pool with a large sunbathing terrace around it looks a bit like an amphitheatre. The campsite also has a small real amphitheatre where you can watch performances.A hinterland full of varietyThere's plenty to see in the surrounding area for those who want more than just sea and sand. The attractive fishing village of Roc de Sant Gaieta is just a couple of kilometres from the campsite, while the cities of Barcelona and Montserrat are a bit further away. A car trip along one of the many golden beaches in the vicinity is also enjoyable, and you'll understand immediately why it is called the Golden Coast. A trip out to one of the theme and water parks in the area will be fun for the whole family.From craft to sportYou don't need to be bored while on holiday at this campsite.
