For the sporty holidaymaker there are several cycling routes in the area (you can rent bikes at the campsite). You can swim in the North Sea and windsurfing is also permitted at the campsite. There is a mooring for boats. Right next to Knaus Campingpark Dorum is the wave pool 'Watt'nbad', consisting of a heated outdoor pool, a heated indoor pool, paddling pool and underwater sun loungers, as well as various sports fields, some wellness facilities and many indoor and outdoor playgrounds, including a pirate playground.Trips to museums and ObereversandA quarter of an hour's drive away is Flughafen-Betriebsgesellschaft Cuxhaven/Nordholz, one of the oldest airports in Germany, opened in 1914. The campsite also has a gameroom. There are many sports facilities, such as tennis, volleyball, mini-golf, stand-up paddle, canoe hire and sports fields with stands.
