Always fun in the water close byWant to enjoy your holiday with lots of fun in the water? This holiday park is close to Noord-Scharwoude in the natural Geestmerambacht recreational area. EuroParcs Molengroet is located next to a wide channel where you can enjoy the croaking of frogs. The Zomerdel lake is one kilometre away and you can enjoy refreshing days here with the whole family throughout the summer.Swimming, fishing and divingYour dream holiday at this luxurious bungalow park can begin right away. After checking in you will be able to dive into the heated outdoor pool at EuroParcs Molengroet almost immediately, as it is situated right next to the reception. If you don't feel like swimming, take in some sun and relax on the lawn! For more fun in the water, go to the Zomerdel lake in the Geestmerambacht recreational area. You can go swimming, fishing and paddle boarding here. Geestmerambacht has a specially closed-off section where you can swim. There is even a real ropeway in the second bay! Great fun for daredevils.Several playgroundsThere is of course plenty for the whole family to do on the campsite. Bounce on the large air trampoline, take part in basketball or a table tennis competition. Have fun racing on the inline skates. The campsite has several playgrounds and the children can play and make things with the entertainment team in the summer holiday. That will give you some quality time for yourself.Dine under the sunFeeling hungry? Take your place in the restaurant, which is part of the main building. You can enjoy one of the delicious dishes inside the restaurant or outside on the terrace. This is also the place where you can order delicious bread rolls for breakfast. If you prefer a simple snack after a day of holiday fun, there is also a snack bar.Off to the cheese marketWhen you stay at EuroParcs Molengroet you will be eight kilometres from Alkmaar. This town is famous for its cheese market. You can see how cheese is sold here every Friday morning and also on Tuesday evenings in the holiday period. They make it into a show which is fun for young and old.Plenty to do for everyoneDe Swaan Playpark is great for the children. This play park is located almost next to the campsite and is only a couple of hundred metres' walk. It has no fewer than five playgrounds and a real inflatable water pillow. If you want something else which is fun to do, visit the interesting Museum BroekerVeiling (Auction House Museum) in Broek op Langedijk. You can get there by bike within half an hour. Of course you can always have a day on the beach or go shopping at Egmond aan Zee. It's a bit too far to cycle but you can drive there in fifteen minutes. However, Heerhugowaard is within cycling distance and the half hour bike ride is well worth the effort. The lovely harbour town of Hoorn is also a nice place to visit. To get there will take you just over half an hour in the car.
