In a wonderful location right by the water lies this beautiful holiday home. The house has been furnished with great taste and care. You will not lack anything here. You will sleep here and wake up on a lovely mattress, have breakfast at a cosy breakfast table overlooking the lake, or, when the weather is nice, relax under the canopy in the garden. Enjoy all the sounds of the water and the birds and watch the boats come and go in the harbourDirectly from the house, you can take a lovely walk across the park. It is a quiet park and is beautifully located by the water. Next to the park is a cosy restaurant where you can have a coffee or a bite to eat. Stevensweert is an old fortified town and has a beautiful centre with many unique elements. It is one of the most beautiful villages in Limburg. It lies on an island formed by the arms of the Meuse and is therefore also called so. In the former town hall you will find the regional museum , another monumental building is the eighteenth-century Sint Stephanuskerk. Spend a day sunbathing on Stevensweert beach, visit the harbour or go play with the children in OERRR play nature Hompesche Molen. A nice, peaceful environmentFrom the house, you walk or cycle into the cosy harbour of Stevensweert. There is a restaurant with a small playground where you can enjoy a drink or a meal. Look at all the boats passing by. The view never gets boring. The centre of Stevensweert is authentic and one of the most beautiful in Limburg. Together with Ohé and Laak, it forms the Island in the Meuse. Here, the Meuse is the border with Belgium. Pay a visit to Maaseik on the Belgian side, you can still enjoy a special beer with the locals in a brown café.If you want to experience a bit more, Roermond is a nice city. you can, of course, visit the well-known Outlet.Stevensweert and Ohé and Laak together form the Island in the Meuse. This holiday park with child-friendly facilities has everything you could need for a relaxing stay with the whole family. On the wooded grounds you will find a large recreational lake with a number of slides, for one thing!Plenty of entertainmentBut that's not all. Europarcs Limburg also boasts an indoor swimming complex with a wellness centre, various sports and games facilities, an entertainment team and a reception area. The surroundings are great for trips. You don't have to be bored for a moment.Food, food, foodYou have all kinds of options to satisfy your hunger. In Horecacentrum Limburg you can combine good food with entertainment, such as live music, fairs and festive evenings. Restaurant 'Friends 'n Bites' has an extensive menu and a chic lounge. Perfect for an intimate dinner with just the two of you, but also for a buffet meal with a large group. You'll be camping in the narrowest part of the Netherlands, with Belgium about three kilometres and Germany only two kilometres away. So walk or cycle across the border for coffee with German pastries in the morning, and then head in the other direction and have some Belgian fries for lunch. Beautiful cities within driving distance are Maaseik (12 km), Genk (40 km), Aachen (50 km) and Liège (60 km). Get yourself a dose of culture!All sorts of things to do in the areaThe forests and the hilly landscape of this region are perfect for beautiful walking and cycling trips. For die-hard cyclists there are enough well-known climbs to work up a sweat. Or choose a different way of being active and stroll through the two Outlet Shopping Centers which are half an hour's drive from the holiday park. Shopaholics will be in heaven in the hundreds of shops of the Outlet Center Roermond or in the pleasant Maasmechelen Village.Your children will be happy to hear that theme park Toverland is less than an hour's drive away.
