The oldest city in the Netherlands, Nijmegen, is 35 km from the accommodation. Its Roman origins can still be seen here in the beautiful old buildings. There is a cosy restaurant in the harbour, where you can have a nice bite to eat with beautiful views. Take a pleasant walk from the harbour and see the cosy village of Maasbommel. If you want to spend a day in Appeltern, it's not far from the port and well worth a visit.
