Are you an advanced skier or snowboarder? If so, you'll be able to get your feet up on the ski slopes in Lech. Steep black pistes, challenging off-piste routes, long day trips, beautiful ski routes. It is all possible in the Ski Arlberg ski area. The ski area is mainly intended for advanced skiers. Children and beginners are welcome in the village of Lech. Here you will find several blue slopes. Wide, relatively quiet and nicely sloping. The other villages are not very suitable for children and beginners.
Want a drink after skiing? That is possible in one of the many après-ski bars. The Mooserwirt in Lech is one of the most famous après-ski tents in Austria. The Arlberg is one of the most snow-assured winter sports areas in Austria. The villages are also quite high and are regularly equipped with a white blanket. Arlberg is a beautiful and snow-sure ski area with many possibilities.
The ski pass, accommodations and food are therefore quite expensive. Especially in Sankt Anton, Lech and Zürs prices are higher than in most other winter sports areas in Austria. Warth and Schröcken are slightly cheaper. Wald am Almberg is about 23km away from the ski area but can be a suitable option for cheaper accommodation.
