In summer you can enjoy the swimming lake, which is just 250 metres from the house - a perfect relaxation spot for hot days - and of course you can also enjoy all that the Hohe Tauern National Park has to offer: for example, the famous Krimml waterfalls (the highest in Europe), the Grossglockner Hochalpenstraße, the Kaprun reservoirs and, of course, the countless hiking and mountain biking opportunities. For more of a challenge, the Aineck Katschberg ski area is a 15-minute drive away. Here you will find 16 lifts and 70 km of slopes of all levels of difficulty. The longest run is the A1 with a length of 5.6 kilometres and a difference in altitude of 1,100 metres.
