Water park with a beach a few steps awayYou can see the swimming pool's large twisting slide from far away. Your children won't be able to wait till they can take a dip in one of the large swimming pools, so don't forget to take your beach shoes. The beach and the Atlantic Ocean are right next to Camping Club MS La Côte Sauvage. After a day of fun in the swimming pool go to the restaurant for a delicious meal, or take away a fresh pizza to enjoy in your tent or caravan. Between woods and the oceanThere's everything you need on the campsite. You will be camping in the woods of La Palmyre. The campsite is located in the Charente Maritime between Rochefort and Royan, and you can enjoy the greenery that surrounds you. Before you know it, you'll be on the beach within a couple of minutes, with views over the Atlantic Ocean. So do you want to swim in the sea with its warm water and sandy beach, or do you prefer the water park on the campsite?Water park for young and oldChildren can have a great time in one of the three swimming pools. The slides make this leisure pool a real experience, from a huge twisting slide to smaller slides. Young children can have fun splashing around in the toddlers' pool with its many water games. If you like the idea of a swim in the Atlantic Ocean, put on your beach shoes, put your towel under your arm and off you go. Enjoy the endless views while the children build their biggest sandcastle and play in the waves. And talking of waves, watersports enthusiasts can have the time of their lives in the water.From kids' club to pizzaIn addition to days full of fun in the water, the children can amuse themselves in the shaded playground at Camping Club MS La Côte Sauvage. There are plenty of ball games for them to enjoy. The children can choose from basketball, football, badminton, minigolf and volleyball. And if the children cannot amuse themselves, the various entertainment clubs have plenty to offer. These include craft sessions for the young ones and teenager trips to the beach. All that fun outdoors will make you hungry by the end of the day, so head off to the restaurant terrace to be thoroughly spoiled by the French cuisine. Or you can eat well in your tent or caravan; take a pizza or burger back to your homely camping pitch. You won't need to go far to do some shopping, as you'll find plenty in the campsite's extensive supermarket.Lively villages and vineyardsThere's plenty to do at Camping Club MS La Côte Sauvage but you should also take a trip out to one of the nearby islands. Île d'Oléron is a gem worth visiting, and you can easily get to the island across a bridge. Enjoy the beautiful beaches, lively villages, lovely salt marshes and vineyards. Sample some wine in one of these vineyards, most of which can actually be visited. A trip to the zoo is always great for the children, and you can go to the animal park in Palmyre, just a couple of kilometres from the campsite. Or get on your bike and enjoy one of the lovely cycle paths through the woods around the campsite.
