Salt is still collected here by dozens of salt workers, and you can have a guided tour in the high season. The Passage du Gois is also very interesting, this road disappears under water twice a day. You might find it hard to believe unless you see it with your own eyes! There is a small amusement park for children at Noirmoutier. It has a minigolf course, a miniature train and bumper boats. And of course you can just go to the beach for a day on the island. Visit the fishing port of l'Herbaudière, admire the boats and sit down at a pavement café. Life is good!
