Popular five-star campsite in NormandyThe Sandaya La Côte de Nacre campsite is a modern campsite, ideally situated a short walking distance away from the charming seaside resort of St. Aubin-sur-Mer and the wide sandy D-Day beaches. This comfortable beach is very popular with young families and couples. It is an ideal holiday destination in France.Excellent water parkMany activities are organised at the Sandaya La Côte de Nacre campsite. In the low season the campsite offers peace and quiet as well as entertainment. During the high season the campsite is busier, especially around the tropical water park which has five pools, slides and a gangplank. You can enjoy both the sun and the water here. The swimming pool is always open, even in inclement weather, thanks to its sliding roof.Great activities for all agesThere are many activities for both young and old at the Sandaya La Côte de Nacre campsite. In the high season, cabaret, quizzes and weekly open-air discos are organised. Children above 5 years of age can spend time with the dedicated children's entertainment team.D-Day beachesThe region is rich in history. You can visit the beach landings of Normandy and re-live June 1944 from the campsite, which is centrally located between Arromanches and Ouistreham. The beaches and the sea in this region played an important role.Good for body and mindYou can also enjoy a massage or beauty treatment on your holiday. You can book an appointment at the wellness centre. Sandaya La Côte de Nacre campsite will take care of your body and your mind. The supermarket has a wide range of food and provides freshly baked bread several times a day.If you do not wish to cook after a tiring day, there are a great range of dishes on offer in the on-site restaurant (available to eat in or take away). Stunning Water ParkThe tidy and natural campsite is very green, with lots of plants and flowers, and there's a lake where you can go fishing. In addition to the Atlantic Ocean beach, you’ll also find plenty of water fun at Camping La Vallée de Deauville itself, thanks to a spectacular water park with slides, waterfalls, and rock features. Kids will have a great time in the games room with video games or at the playground on the campsite. The on-site restaurant is also well worth a visit. Horse riding is available just 1 km from the campsite. Dutch is spoken at Camping La Vallée de Deauville as well. Authentic, Charming Towns and D-Day BeachesThe beach at Deauville is only 4 km away. The famous D-Day landing beaches are about 40 kilometers from Camping La Vallée de Deauville. There are several museums and memorials, such as the Canadian War Museum at Juno Beach. If you're camping in Normandy for the first time, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the gentle, rolling landscape and the region’s charming towns and harbors. The town of Honfleur is especially beautiful. A visit to the nearby go-kart track is thrilling. Deauville and Trouville are also highly recommended, with their marina, tourist train, casinos, seaside promenade, and above all, their lively atmosphere! Taste the World-Famous CalvadosBe sure to visit a distillery where the world-famous calvados is made, and enjoy a tasting of this strong spirit or the softer apple cider!
