The nearby Kreischberg/Murau (42 km of slopes) and Lachtal (36 km of slopes) ski areas are also well worth a visit, while the family-friendly ski resort Kaiserau in Admont is ideal for beginners. For cross-country skiers, Hohentauern offers around 18 kilometers of trails winding through the fairytale winter landscape.In summer, the Murtal holiday region turns into a paradise for hikers, cyclists and mountain bikers. Discover mountain meadows, cool forests and meandering streams on one of the many trails.
