This route takes you past the unique rock formations in this region. A campsite on the Breton coastThe unique region of Brittany is located in Western France. The 350-kilometre-long coastline of the Côtes d'Armor is made up of unusual pink granite. But the campsite is a very hospitable enclave, so everyone is welcome! Great locationThe campsite's location is ideal, you can reach the beach via a footpath from the campsite. And there's plenty to do and see in the vicinity. The views of the sea and the cliffs are beautiful, and there are plenty of lovely villages close by which you can visit. These include trips out to Bénodet, Quimper, Locronan or the artists' village of Pont-Aven. Active days out, e.g. canoeing and kayaking on the lovely River Odet, are a great idea. Swimming indoors or outdoorsWhatever the weather, at Camping Sandaya L'Escale Saint-Gilles you can always take a dip in the water park with its water slides and jet streams. One part of the swimming pool is actually indoors and heated. There is a shallow toddlers' pool for the youngest guests. It is situated on the river Odet, ideal for anglers.Water fun with a castle viewYour backdrop is a real castle with a beautiful botanical garden. There is also an aqua park with water slides between the rocks, so plenty of fun can be had in the water. The stately 17th century Orangery hosts concerts. The old farmhouse houses a snack bar, crêperie and bar.Quimper and other Breton treasuresAs stated, Quimper is within walking distance and boasts a cathedral, charming alleys, restaurants and shops. Would you prefer a day at the beach? Bénodet (15 km) is home to a number of beautiful sandy beaches. We also recommend the walled town of Concarneau and the aqua theme park near Fouesnant. Camping L'Océan Breton is just a five-minute bike ride from the beach. This campsite in Brittany has everything for a great holiday. Like a climbing course for the children and a wellness centre. Are you hungry? Then choose a fresh fish from the restaurant. Breton culture close to the seaThe Breton culture is very close at hand when you camp at the Océan Breton campsite. Quimper, a typical Breton town, is just a half-hour drive away. The campsite is also right next to a large manor house from the 19th century. You could almost call this manor a castle. And it is also situated in a beautiful spot, close to the Atlantic Ocean. Double the diving fun!Do you like swimming? Then you are doubly lucky. If the sea is a bit too chilly for a dive, you can go to the water park in the middle of the campsite. You can play together with the children for hours in the warm pools. The Océan Breton campsite's aquatic park is huge. So your children will never tire of playing. First they slide down the water slides. Then they jump into the outdoor pool. And before you know it they are splashing around in the indoor pool. There is a Volkswagen van in the water!Fresh fish and good vegetablesAre you hungry or thirsty after splashing around in the water? The restaurant is right next to the water park. Take a seat on the terrace and enjoy the best drinks and snacks. The food in the restaurant is very healthy. We work with fresh products and local producers. Do you feel like having a picnic with the whole family? Lay down a blanket on the large lawn in front of the manor house. A lovely place for a picnic.Climbing, craft work and cross-bikingCome and discover our new playground with a 10 m high lighthouse! But not before the children have had some fun on the climbing course. This exciting adventure park is located in the forest next to the campsite. The bouncy castle is also a great attraction for the children. But maybe you need a visit to the sauna. Or a massage. No problem. While you relax in the wellness centre, the entertainment team will entertain your children. The little ones have their hands full with colouring and crafts. The older children will race together over the bumps of the cross-bike track.

You can make your holiday on the campsite as luxurious as you want to. But there's plenty to discover close to the campsite. Check out the lighthouses and fishing harbours in one of the fishing villages. What could be better!Twisting slides and swimming lessonsYour children will be happy as soon as you drive into the campsite. You can see the big blue water slides from the entrance. They twist down from a great height and end up in the swimming pools. The lagoon is suitable for the whole family. The youngest swimmers can play safely in the shallow parts of the swimming pool. You can swim lengths in the indoor, heated part of the swimming pool, or simply enjoy the sun on one of the deckchairs. Check out the fish auction, the fish are sold in no time. Thankfully you won't need to act so quickly in the village in order to enjoy a delicious meal of freshly caught fish in one of the restaurants.
