The two aqua parks with lagoon pools, bubble baths, lagoon river, a lane swimming pool, various water slides, water playground and water umbrella are a real eye catcher. Fantastic! If you have something to eat in the restaurant or on the terrace, you have a beautiful view of the swimming paradise. On the other side of Camping Sandaya Domaine du Verdon on the Verdon lies a small lake, on which you can sail. The little ones can enjoy themselves on the many playground equipment. The campsite also organises all kinds of activities for both young and old, and every day there is something new to do. Sporting excursions such as rafting and canoeing on the fast-flowing waters of the Verdon are exciting.Impressive river landscapeOf course, you can also view the impressive river landscape in a much calmer way. An absolute must in the area is the Provencal village of Castellane. An absolute must is a visit to the Gorges du Verdon, the 'Grand Canyon of Europe'. Another must is the very picturesque town of Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, known for its pottery. A little further away on the Côte d'Azur are Cannes and Nice. You camp here among all the charms of Provence: rolling lavender fields and old towns, but also the Mediterranean Sea is close by!
