The aqua park has a number of swimming pools, including a pool where you can swim lengths, a toddlers' pool, massaging water jets, fantastic water flumes and sun loungers around the pools. There is a kid's-club and a variety of activities are arranged, such as sports competitions, aqua gym and fun treasure hunts. Camping Le Plein Air des Chênes is an excellent base from which to explore the surrounding area. You can discover the Roman era by visiting the amphitheatres (Nîmes!), aqueducts (Pont du Gard!) and the historical city of Arles (Vincent van Gogh!). Make sure you visit Montpellier with its attractive pedestrian area in the historic centre and the famous square, Place de la Comédie. You can also take day trips by car to a variety of areas of natural beauty in the region such as the Hérault, the Camargue and the wine regions. You can also drive to visit the jewels of the Middle Ages such as Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert and Aigues-Mortes.
