Possibly not the most well-known holiday region, but that's definitely undeserved. It is a region with something for everyone: the campsite is located just 5 km from the Atlantic coast, by the beach at Marennes and just south of Rochefort and La Rochelle. The Charente is also a region of old fishing villages, oyster farms and culinary delights.
