The shaded family campsite is in fact laid out in the form of a Mexican village. The campsite is located between the authentic medieval-looking town of Vias, and the modern resort of Vias-Plage. The minute you leave the Mexican campsite you will savour the wonderful ambiance of the sunny South of France. You could call it the best of both worlds!Fun in the water for everyoneCamping L'Air Marin ensures you will have a holiday with fun in the water for the whole family. The colourful market in Vias on Wednesdays and Saturdays is worth a visit to snap up some local souvenirs. Cap d'Agde is ten kilometres away from the campsite, and you can stroll along the boulevard that goes around the harbour. It has many restaurants and lovely shops and there is plenty for the children to see and enjoy. Cap d'Agde is also where you'll find the Luna Park which is popular with children.

Take a dip in the water parkAt Camping Sandaya Le Plein Air des Chênes there is an excellent and eye-catching 1,200 m² leisure pool which ensures hours of fun for all ages, including teenagers. The aqua park has a number of swimming pools, including a pool where you can swim lengths, a toddlers' pool, massaging water jets, fantastic water flumes and sun loungers around the pools. Get to know the French game pétanqueThe entertainment team is constantly working to make sure everyone has a great time. There is a kid's-club and a variety of activities are arranged, such as sports competitions, aqua gym and fun treasure hunts. You can play a variety of sports on the sports fields, such as mini-golf, football, tennis and handball. You can play pétanque, the national sport of the local people, in the shade of the oak trees. You will need your beach shoes as well as your high heels during your holiday at Sandaya Les Tamaris campsite. This rural site is located in the south in the department of Languedoc-Roussillon. With its lovely swimming pool and the beautiful South of France sandy beaches at your doorstep, you can be certain of a camping holiday with days of fun in the water.A drink by the waterThe campsite is located on a strip of land between the Mediterranean and the Lake of Ingril, so you can jump into the waves at any time of the day. And the Tam Tam Beach Club will serve you a drink when the time is right. The campsite's swimming pool has an unusual shape which gives you the feeling you are in a whole series of small swimming pools. That gives it a pleasant ambiance. After your swim you can relax on a sun lounger around the pool, while enjoying a drink from the bar of course. Your children will have great fun in the children's pool, while you have a relaxing swim or just bob around in the large pool.A pleasant village atmosphereJust like the swimming pool, the grounds of Sandaya Les Tamaris campsite are laid out in an imaginative way. The pitches and rental accommodation are not in straight rows but are placed at an angle next to each other in small groups. The mobile homes are painted in bright colours, and there is plenty of greenery on the campsite. But even so, the campsite is buzzing with activities. The entertainment team provide art and craft days, sports tournaments, evening performances, disco evenings and plenty more in the summer. Playmates are never far away.Cycle past salt flats and vineyardsThe area around the campsite offers plenty of opportunities for trips out. The towns of Montpellier and Sète are within cycling distance. You will see plenty of birds and other natural treasures in the inland seas between these towns. This was formerly a salt extraction area. The old salt pans are now protected natural areas. The Gardiole is located further inland, this is a lovely walking area with medieval remains and even prehistoric buildings. And this is where you will find beautiful Mediterranean vegetation and lovely views over the sea. The vineyards producing the sweet Muscat wine are famous here. You really should sample them… Day trips further away include Carcassonne or the Gorges de l'Herault.

Visit one of the picturesque towns such as Béziers, Pézenas or Carcassonne. A trip such as this is worth the effort. Entertainment for everybodyChildren of all ages will be entertained in the Kids, Juniors & Teens Clubs. The bouncy castle is particularly popular, as are the meadows where children can play. The children will also love the ponies and horses. But the entertainment team also has a lot in store for adults. From sports tournaments to music evenings and everything in between. You can also work up a sweat on one of the many sports fields. If you really want to relax, then you're sure to find something to your liking in the beauty and wellness centre.
