And all this in a great location in the Doubs department in the east of France: in the heart of a beautiful part of the country with the famous tourist areas of Jura, Vosges and Alsace, not far from the border with Switzerland.Forests and lakesCamping Du Bois de Reveuge is situated on a 24 ha holiday park with rolling meadows, forests and lakes. The campsite is surrounded by nature and overlooks the foothills of the Jura.Boredom is not an optionMost of the park's activities are free of charge, such as archery and pedalos, canoeing and fishing (carp) in the lake on the campsite and in high season swimming and sailing. Of course, both swimming pools (one covered) on the campsite are also free of charge. One is equipped with beautiful water slides and the other can be covered so that the children can have a swim even when the weather is not so good. Furthermore, children can go pony riding at campsite Du Bois de Reveuge and adults can make trips on horseback. You can hire mountain bikes on site to get to know the beautiful surroundings better and there are also fun hikes organised. And what do you think of the fitness room? This way you'll stay in shape even on holiday!The Doubs is full of surprisesOther day trips will take you to the restored forts of Besançon and Belfort, the valley of the river Doubs, the zoo of Mulhouse and the interesting museum of car and bicycle manufacturer Peugeot in Sochaux and the toy museum in the castle of Montbéliard. That castle looks more German than French. Montbéliard belonged to Württemberg for a long time and the town has many other German-style buildings. When you go camping for the first time in this part of France, you will be amazed by the beautiful landscape of the Jura and Alsace and the many characteristic French villages.
