Active fun among the pine treesCamping in the South of France in a beautifully wooded area among pine trees. Maybe you can smell the lovely scent already? And not only do pine trees smell lovely, they offer wonderful protection against the glaring sunlight, so you can remain wonderfully active. And you will not be short of activities at Le Séquoia. The water park alone is big enough for several days of fun in the water. What else is there to do? Have a great time on the bouncy castle or on the sports field or tennis court. Plenty to do for young and old.Whizz down the slideOne of the greatest attractions at Le Séquoia is the beautifully laid out water park. You can enjoy this with the entire family. Children can chase each other down the slides, and the shallow toddlers' pool is perfect for the very youngest. When the weather is poor you can enjoy the water in the small heated pool with sliding roof. The outdoor pool is more suitable if you want to swim a few lengths. And if you want to do something different for a day, the River Dordogne is a good alternative. This famous river is less than ten kilometres from the campsite, and you can have fun canoeing or swimming, trying a SUP and plenty more. And there are countless lovely beaches where you can take soak up the sun.Plenty of activities for the whole familyLe Séquoia is a well maintained campsite. You will receive a warm welcome at the reception. This is also where you should go for what to do in the vicinity; the best places to swim, the loveliest walks, the best restaurants or the most enjoyable trips out. And of course, for activity on the campsite itself, because plenty of things are organised. The children can have fun making things, playing ball games, sports competitions and performances. You can also take part in dance evenings, sports tournaments or pétanque competitions. Or maybe go on a guided walk. There is a performance, concert or dance evening almost every day in the summer months.Towns high up, caves deep downThere are plenty of choices for days out in the immediate surroundings of Le Séquoia. You can swim in the Dordogne, sunbathe on the lovely beaches or go on thrilling canoe trips. Go for a drive past the many castles and unusual villages, such as Rocamadour. This village is attached dramatically to the side of a cliff. You will also find many famous caves with prehistoric drawings in this rocky countryside, such as the caves at Lascaux and Lacave.
