You can enjoy paddling, swimming or casting your fishing rod in the River Ain. For a bit more of a challenge, you can rent kayaks at the campsite. This way you can explore the area from the water.A little further away are several lakes. The Lac de Vouglans is a reservoir in the River Ain with plenty of water sports opportunities. The Lac de Clairvaux-les-Lacs is a great place to visit with your family. The water here stays shallow for a long time. A walk past the waterfalls of Hérisson is also an enjoyable thing to do. Take your walking shoes and a picnic basket!Camping without any frillsYou hardly notice the campsite from the road. No large buildings or plenty of luxury, just quiet and natural grounds. There is a lovely covered swimming pool for cooling off and having some fun in the water. And you can also walk from your camping pitch to the river with a sunbathing area on the bank.There is plenty of entertainment at the campsite on the multi-sports field, the pétanque court or at the table tennis table. Your little ones can let off steam in the playground and on the two large bouncy castles. In the high season you can order bread at the campsite. For your daily shopping you go to the village 200 metres away. You will find a large supermarket in Clairvaux-les-Lacs, about five kilometres from the campsite.Pure mountain airCamping les Pêcheurs is located in the Jura, named after the mountain range with the same name. The mountain range forms the border with Switzerland. The mountains are not very high but full of variety of forests, lakes, stalactite caves, gorges and waterfalls. It's a paradise for nature lovers full of opportunities for adventurous trips and tours. A short walk, a brisk bike ride, a day trip by car: you always come across something special here.
