You can walk straight to the beach from the level grounds of Sandaya La Nublière campsite, unless you prefer to take your towel and lie on one of the lawns by the water. Either way you will have wonderful views of the lake and the enormous mountain peaks surrounding it. Water playground and wellnessThe water playground for children at Camping Sandaya La Nublière is a real eye-catcher as is the spa area for adults where you can enjoy a wonderful relaxing sauna, steam bath, hot tub or swimming pool. Visitors can swim in the indoor pool when they have paid access to the wellness area. Multifunctional sports field and much moreCamping Sandaya La Nublière has three well-maintained toilet blocks and a new multifunctional sports field where you can play football, volleyball, basketball, hockey and more. There is also a new bouncy air cushion. There are also various outdoor fitness machines, allowing you to fully enjoy the fresh air while exercising. Water sports and other outdoor activitiesYou can rent surfboards or sailing boats or go water skiing in the little harbour close by. If that's not exciting enough there is also rafting and parasailing close to Camping Sandaya La Nublière. Many flights are made by delta wing and parachute from the slopes on this side of the lake. Annecy, gem in the French mountainsYou must not miss Annecy; a beautiful historic centre with small bridges, flowers on every balcony, quaint shops and excellent restaurants. It's more peaceful in the mountains a bit further away from the lake; wonderful walks, rock climbing or mountain biking! Doussard is located on the south side of Lake Annecy, so the highest peaks in the Alps such as Mont Blanc are only a short distance away in the direction of Ugine, Megève and Bourg Saint Maurice.

If you'd like something more active, there are plenty of walking and cycling routes in the area, or you can go stand-up paddleboarding on the river.Water parks for fun and relaxationThere is no lack of swimming fun. Camping Sandaya Soleil Vivarais has no fewer than two large water parks. One water park is devoted to action and water-based fun. Here, the children can enjoy themselves to the full while whizzing down the slides. There are several heated swimming pools, of which one indoors, four slides, a wave pool, a water playground and a paddling pool.The other water park has a completely different atmosphere. Here, it is all about relaxation. There is a large Balinese pool and hot tubs. There is also a paddling pool here so you can enjoy the peace with your little one. Even low season l’Ardechois campsite is lovely thanks to the quiet, peaceful location and the mild climate. Recommended for young familiesThis well maintained terrain divided into terraces and has a lovely swimming pool in its centre with a separate shallow toddlers' pool. At l’Ardechois campsite fun activities and games are organised, mainly in high season. You can also take part in canoeing and climbing trips in the beautiful surroundings. With its restaurant, youth centre and playground, this campsite is perfect for families with young children. Lovely trips along winding roadsBut you will sometimes need to abandon your new favourite spot because lovely drives along winding roads will take you to the tourist towns of Privas and Aubenas and the Ray-Pic waterfalls. A lovely way to discover the Ardèche! St. Sauveur-de-Montagut is located just west of Valence and Montélimar. This is a wonderful camping opportunity in France!
