It's more peaceful in the mountains a bit further away from the lake; wonderful walks, rock climbing or mountain biking! Doussard is located on the south side of Lake Annecy, so the highest peaks in the Alps such as Mont Blanc are only a short distance away in the direction of Ugine, Megève and Bourg Saint Maurice.
