You can swim in the Dordogne, sunbathe on the lovely beaches or go on thrilling canoe trips. Go for a drive past the many castles and unusual villages, such as Rocamadour. This village is attached dramatically to the side of a cliff. You will also find many famous caves with prehistoric drawings in this rocky countryside, such as the caves at Lascaux and Lacave.
